I bought a plastic fence play yard for my grandson, thinking it had a floor with it, it did not and my daughter-in-law found this and I ordered two sets to put on the floor of his play yard. It looks fantastic and works perfectly!

I ordered this for my dog, who loves to lie in the warm rocks and sand in the backyard. Towels and blankets just get dirty. This mat works well because I can split it into several mats in his favorite sunning spots, and wipe it clean when needed. The mat also stores into a very compact cube, small enough to fit into a standard fabric shopping bag. The colors are also really nice! It's refreshing to see these more neutral colors, and the yellow looks bright and cheerful.The mat could also be used as a portable carpet for tents, a pad for a picnic blanket, or even a beach tarp (I used it for this to put a little cushioning on a rocky beach). And, of course, it can be used for babies. I do not recommend it as an exercise mat - get a proper one for that purpose as this mat is too thin and slippery for exercise.That is why I knocked it down a star. Both sides of the mat, even the grippy side, are really slippery. The mat would not stay in place inside of my house.

We actually ordered this product not for what it is commercialized for but rather for camping purposes. We love the padding of this product as well as being able to remove squares! It's easy to assemble and disassemble into squares, making it so compact and easy to store. It is the perfect size for one sleeping bag during camping. We also do have sleeping pads, but thought it would be nice to use them as extra padding :)

The mat is also easy to clean and maintain, which is important when dealing with our 6 months old baby and their messes and te quality of the materials and the ease of use which easy for us to bring it for outdoor use as well.

They can be used as a play mat, or at a pop-up event as a storytelling mat; I've used it modified in a long rectangle (2x8 tiles) for taking a nap on the floor, and as a mindfulness practice mat.Easy to clean, easy to put together, easy to take apart. Easy to store -- I have a re-purposed tote bag I use for storing the pieces.As long as I don't handle them roughly, or mishandle them, they have been durable, and they are slip resistant.This is good for all ages.

My niece loves to come by and jump all over our leather sofa. We gather all the pillows and surround the sofa so she can't get hurt. As she gets older, we noticed she likes to play with her toys on our wooden floor. It was time to get a play mat. We loved the colors of this puzzle mat. There are 4 colors and you can piece it together in whatever combination you want. It is less than an inch thick which is suitable for children. She loves staying on the mat now. Win-Win. I would not recommend this for exercising as it is too thin for that. It is very easy to clean and to put away. Totally recommended - 5 Stars!
