Pasties arrived this morning, well packaged in a bubble silver wrapping with a chill package inside. The outside box was was a bit buckled but the pasties were in perfect shape with no damage. I’ll add more after tasted one which is heating up right now. Well I liked the mush and it had peas plus it was full to the top. I enjoyed it. I will be buying again :) Ok just ate 2nd Pasty and I like everything but there isn’t any flavour. It needs salt and pepper in the mush next time. It’s impossible to flavour at home because you’d have to scoop out the filling then put it back. Maybe try some beef stock in the mix for flavour. Pastry good and I did have some peas :)

These pasties look nothing like they do in the picture. I was so disappointed when I opened them the filling in the picture looks full and high to the top of the pastry crimp, you could see the peas potatoes, carrots and meat clearly in the picture. But not when one of these poor bad boys was heated and sliced open. It looked like mush and even then only half filled, (be grateful for small mercies). At first I thought I had bought the wrong make as my Dad was so looking forward to having one. One went to the doggie and he didn't seem overly impressed either. So that was 3 that got binned. The other point is the extortionate price, nearly £30 for 6 pasties, they should have been top quality for that price. You would be better off making your own and giving them a good quality filling right up to the top crust. You can easily get ready rolled pastry, plus you will save yourself plenty of money.

Good flavour, this is not a criticism but I prefer a flakier pastry.

I recently purchased 6 of these pasties and was very disappointed with them ,filled with a gooey mashed up mess and the pastry tasted stale .As I was so disappointed I wrote to suppliers and they suggested I send them back at my expense and they would test them also they would refund the price of them.I was informed there was nothing wrong with them and they would send me 4 meat and potatoe pies as a good will gesture,not happy with this outcome I reminded them I was told I would get a refund not 4 pies .They refused a refund as according to them the pasties were fine.I got in touch with Amazon who straightaway gave my refund ,so I was happy.My advice to anyone thinking of buying these very expensive pasties don’t bother and go and buy some at Greggs where you know they will be lovely.

Almost tasteless very disappointing won’t buy again even though I am also a GREENHALGH ! There needs to be some serious change on flavour . Not cheap ,easy to use my glass “ oven “ we turned it halfway through so it looked really good with a crispy pastry . I always taste before I eat ! Just needs really good seasoning !
