It covers the main gramatical points of the language while making it interesting. Very simple and easy to follow. I love the format. It has 25 chapters that makes learning easy if you think of covering one chapter per week. Very doable and valuable. I highly recommend it

I bought this book in 2021. It is amazingly good book at teaching basic and intermediate grammar with plenty of exercises and answers at the back. It's very well structured in its teaching.Highly recommend

Great book so far! I learnt some Spanish in Secondary School but hadn’t studied it since then and wanted to get back into it. I would say I have lower intermediate knowledge and so far I don’t feel too challenged but also don’t find it too easy either which is good!

Very helpful. Has answers in the back of the book which makes it possible to check that one understands the exercise as well as checking the answers. It does cover a huge range of abilities from beginner to advanced level.

I bought this for my boyfriend who is learning Spanish with a teacher via online. The book is amazing, with more than 300 pages and it has everything (present, past, future, vocabulary, etc). A los of activities to do and very good explained. I would recommend 100% but only if you understand at least some basic Spanish

Great for practising the basic and using as a quick look up on the grammar rules that you sometimes need to remind yourself on. There are little exercises through out the book and the information is well laid out and easy to digest.

I like that it goes through useful words fpr when you move to spain, from getting a flat to shopping list. Maybe a bit grammar focused and would be nice to have more conversational type exercises

Wow, really comprehensive reference and workbook. Definitely not for beginners. Good structure and nicely printed. Lots of exercises. Love this author (Kattan-Ibarra). Very similar to his earlier Essential Spanish Grammar, in a larger, updated format. Highly recommend.

I have been plugging away on my Spanish for years, a little here, a little there. I found that this book explains a lot of the specifics of why and how, verbs, expressions are used, making it easier to remember the rules. Even the easier chapters at the beginning of the book makes me say to myself, "I didn't know that!"

I haven’t had Spanish since high school and wanted to start learning again. This book was great to start as a refresher. Easy and organized.

I like the structure of the lessons, especially Reading. I can pick up new vocabularies there. In the Writing part, I am not sure if I am confident enough to write 50 to 80 words without any help of dictionary. Anyway it could be a bit challenge!It is a good workbook for a person like me to study by oneself.
