No, it does not. However, if you're handy you could find a plug-in power converter with an output of 3 to 5 volts and wire it in.

Q: About how long do the batteries last before needing to be replaced?

I only use it for doing my nails. So it takes about an hour to do my nails and I have used it at least 6 times. The batteries are still strong.

No, it is not typical for the light to flicker. My suggestion is for you to replace the batteries and check if the light is flickering again. If so, it is advisable you return the lamp if that window of returns is still open. I hope it works out for you.
