I used to buy the rolls and make the pouches myself to freeze meat when we buy it in bulk, but I gave these a go and I will never be going back! The quality of these bags is so much better - the plastic is thicker and the raised pattern is more defined, so air can be sucked out much more easily. They also seem to seal a lot better - I always had to double-seal the bags from the roll, but these are completely fine with just one.If you're still tempted by the rolls, run the numbers on how many bags you actually get from one roll. We did, and these worked out to only be about a penny more each. Well worth it for the time saved and better quality! If they stop only one thing from leaking they'll have paid for themselves!

Love these sous vide bags, they are robust versatile and great for many more things than just sous vide cooking. Vacumn sealed, they are excellent for things like trail mix, Beef jerky, Biltong and homemade FRH (Flamless Ration Heater) camping meals. I tend to buy this size because you can cut them down and seal them to whatever size you wish.Heres a thing though, Amazon gave me a refund for not delivering the last batch i ordered...Except,. Ive been using them for the last 3 days?!! Theres no way for me to notify Amazon that I recieved the goods in the usual timely manner, So I hope that doesnt mean the vendour is out of pocket. Really happy with the quality of these bags, bought one pack and liked them so much i came back and ordered more.Perfect size and i haven't had one fail. I find them so much easier and quicker to use than the rolls type that I had to cut myself. Great quality and excellent value

Good quality bags for proper sealing of food. Use it to vacuum seal all meat from proper butchers to prolong storage time. Also use for sous vide of said meat.

Nice thick bags that are easy to use & seal everytime. Easy to cut diwn to make smaller bags. I've had no issues months after 1st using them. All our frozen food is still nicely sealed and tastes like we've just made it from fresh.
