High quality
I bought one for keeping an eye on my cats while I’m not home and it works perfectly. It has a clear camera and it’s easy to use and install. The only warning I have is that you do need to buy a $10 subscription if you want to be able to go back and view past footage, so it’s a bit of a constant expense. Though if you’re okay with only seeing the footage as it happens, then it will work perfectly. The night vision is great and clear, it gives a notification every time motion is detected and overall it’s absolutely perfect. I don’t mind paying the subscription as I have mischievous cats and they love to chew things and break things, so constant supervision where I can yell at them is perfect 😂

High Quality Camera
These are really excellent cameras. I live on the first floor of an apartment building. We are not allowed to install outdoor cameras or anything else on the outside of the building. My only other option was to buy indoor cameras that face out the windows. The cameras are adjustable. I bought multiple cameras because I live in a corner apartment. The Ring camera comes with the ability to manipulate what area your camera responds to. That is controlled from the app on my phone. This will stop my camera from being alerted if my cat comes near one of my cameras. Remember that all of my cameras are actually indoors and facing out through the windows. It also gives me the option of deciding whether it will record any motion or just motion that occurs when there is a person in view of the camera. And that function works as when I checked a motion sensor event, there was always a human being walking by or even in a different apartment building yard. I don't normally try to include any apartment spaces around me but that's kind of impossible because everything is so close here in the city. But the fact is that works perfectly, records perfectly and only records when there is human motion activity. So the camera can tell the difference between a human and a garbage can falling over from the wind. That's pretty cool. Setting up multiple cameras is very easy because it simply remembers the information on the app. I would recommend getting this camera over one of the blink cameras. I have a couple of them operating but they are nowhere near as sophisticated as the ring cameras. That's just a fact. Of course these are also a little bit more expensive, but they are worth it. It cost about $10 per month to put unlimited cameras from one household on a cloud recording system which is a good safety backup feature in case someone would rob the apartment and also take the cameras. The quality of the picture and videos are superior and very clear even at a distance. When the motion detectors are activated a very bright blue light which is easily visible through windows and screens becomes apparent to anyone outside, even in bright daylight. It is so bright that I think it would scare anyone away pretty quickly. Remember that the blue light is only activated when a person comes in view of the camera. This would scare somebody away I believe. So the blue light is not always on which is good. It also works perfectly with Alexa and I do have it hooked up to my Alexa system. You can simply ask one of your Alexa video devices like the Echo Shows to show one of the cameras which can be named to anything that you want it to be named to simply by changing the name of each camera in the app. You can also show it on a larger screen that is hooked into any Alexa system. The controls for this camera are simply amazing. There are so many different things you can do with these cameras. I live by myself so when I am out of town, I face one of the cameras inwards so I can watch my apartment and cat. Otherwise, I never point my cameras inwards but face all of them out the windows. It even has a setting for doing just that even though they are indoor cameras. What I am trying to say is that the cameras have a setting for looking out a window from indoors so as not to be disturbed by reflections. Also very cool and sophisticated as well is easy to manipulate. So obviously Ring is prepared for people facing these cameras outside through indoor windows. They clearly thought of everything. I would highly recommend buying one or more of these over the cheaper blink cameras. I highly recommend these indoor cameras that run on USB power. Very easy set up for each camera or just use one.

Works like a charm, great video!
Another Ring device added without issue. This camera is a super easy install using the Ring app. Picture is great in light, and even in color at night. Good options too, you can close the cover over the camera to shutdown the video and cut the audio for privacy. You can set the audio off completely in the Ring app to protect against recording private conversations and just view/record the video. The camera also has the ability to send speech to those being watched and if necessary sound an alarm for intrusions. The camera viewing zone can be adjusted in the Ring app to focus on a specific area in the camera's view. This comes in handy when limiting the motion detection by the camera. The motion detection can also be set to detect either persons and/or 'other' motions. Set only for persons keeps the pets from tripping the motion detection which works well. While at home we keep the cover closed on the camera for privacy but if we are to be away then we open the cover so we can keep an eye on the inside of the house while gone. This allows us to see intruders, catch a fire early, or water flooding on the floor from a broken pipe. Depending on your situation, the camera comes recommended.

Great Entry-Level Security Camera
I picked this up for indoor monitoring, and it’s been a great camera. Setup was quick and easy with just plug it in, connect it to the app, and it’s ready to go. The video quality is clear, and it works well both during the day and at night. Motion detection is reliable and sends alerts quickly, which makes it easy to keep an eye on things. I also like how compact it is. It doesn’t take up much space and can be placed pretty much anywhere. One thing to keep in mind is that some features, like video history and advanced alerts, require a subscription. Without it, you’re mostly limited to live view and basic notifications. Also note that sometimes the sensor for the privacy cover can be a bit picky after a few months. I’ve taken to wiping a microfiber cloth across the sensor to make sure the app states the cover is open.

Easy Set Up
I feel quality of the camera is there Definitely not heavy or bulky. It’s light weight. It’s super easy to set up. I’m not 100% sure of the night vision yet. I haven’t had it long enough. The price is decently priced. The motion detection is awesome. So far I’m pleased. I understand that the Camera is more of a deterrent as they record and anything on film don’t lie.

Great combo with the Ring Doorbell. Best form of inhome monitoring
I recently added the Ring Indoor Cam in black to my home security setup, and it has been a very positive experience overall. Setup was quick and easy. I plugged it in, followed the steps in the Ring app, and within minutes I had clear 1080p video streaming to my phone. The image quality is sharp enough to easily identify people and pets, and it performs well even in lower light without becoming overly grainy. The two way audio is clear and responsive, which is useful for checking in on pets or communicating with someone in another room. Motion detection has been reliable and responsive, especially after spending a few minutes adjusting the motion zones. Notifications arrive quickly, and the app makes it easy to review what triggered an alert. Live view connects almost instantly, and I have only noticed minor lag when my Wi Fi is under heavy use. It has been especially helpful when I am away from home or working remotely and want a quick visual check inside. One important thing to keep in mind is that while the camera works without a Ring Protect subscription, you only get live view and motion alerts without video history. Adding the subscription unlocks saved clips and makes the system feel much more complete. Overall, the Ring Indoor Cam has been a dependable and easy to use addition to my home security, offering strong video quality, a polished app experience, and peace of mind at a very reasonable price.
