100% sprouted, fast growing healthy grass. Great flavor, price, and yield. Don't wast money on Seeds twice the price..these are perfect. 2010 trays (10x20), 1 dry cup each, soaked overnight in jar with water. Started harvesting at 7", about a week. Bought 10 pound bag, will regrow 3x. Barely made dent in bag. Recommend hand pump spray bottle..perfect.

Bought for my dogs. I had a dirt patch in lawn so ran rake over to soften dirt, threw seeds down, lightly covers with dirt then water generously every 2 days. It grew so fast. In one week that patch had beautiful lush wheat grass that my dogs can enjoy. I did not soak and they still grew.

I did not realize how much seed I was purchasing! This is a nicely packed bag and the seeds seem exceptionally productive - they have already sprouted high and bright green in my hydroponic fish tank setup (the Back to the Roots Water Garden) and taste excellent. Only problem I have now is that at this rate, it will take me 10 years to use all the seed in the bag! Perhaps it's time to become a wheat farmer... anyway, excellent quality seeds, fast ship, thank you very much

I routinely grow cat grass from wheat berries, and it was the first time I bought these ones. When I tried to soak and grow them, they produced a strong unpleasant smell and very few seeds sprouted. Something that looked like dark mold also started growing. I tried to wash and change the pot, which did not help. Then I bought wheat berries from another place where I usually bought them, and everything was back to normal - grass grows perfectly with no unpleasant smells. So, I just threw out this whole pack as I did not want to risk eating whatever was in these berries.

Update: these are GREAT!! My elderly kitty passed away before I finished growing this entire bag for her, and I totally forgot about it up on top of the fridge. We got a new cat and I am astounded to report that *5 years later* this dusty old bag still had a 75% germination rate. That's amazing! I tried to sprout in a sprouted but didn’t work as expected but as it was an experiment no big worries. I plan on planting some in a small pot the traditional way for miss kitty to enjoy this winter. Since they did in fact sprout in the sprouted but didn’t product long leafs I figure they should be just fine in a more traditional pot.

These sprout really nicely compared to other grains I've experimented with! They sprout within a night whereas the sproutable oat groats, sunflower seeds, and flax that I tried took longer. EVERY kernel of this brand sprouts while only about 50% of other brands sprout. I can't comment on the actual taste or freshness though, because I'm using these to feed my parakeet , not me, haha. However, an animal can be a good gauge of food quality and my parakeet devours these while she is tentative of other brands and sources so that is a green light to me!

I was buying the kits they sell for cats on here and I thought to myself, there must be a better way. So I bought a couple of sprouting trays and a bag of this seed, and I have not looked back. The cats have a little forest now rather than just a pot. And the best part is, it is way cheaper to do it this way and I mean way cheaper. Follow proper germinating procedure and then just make sure that when the grass is growing, to CHANGE THE WATER every day. Typically for me with 3 cats the grass will last about 3 weeks before I put down a new batch. Takes just over week to get a new batch. This grass grows quick. Love it. This is definitely Rob approved!

This is such an excellent value, I bought the 10 lbs. bag. We have 2 cats, they love this stuff. So easy to grow. Works best for us when we placed the seeds on top of the soil (very generously), give them a good soak, cover for 2-3 days until they start sprouting, then remove covering. In about 2 weeks it's so lush. We have purchased other brands, but they never sprouted this well. We plant one for the cats & one for us humans.

I bought it to cook a traditional Christmas porridge. It turned out great! I’m surprised that people seem to only use it to feed their pets lol
