Can one port be plugged on the 2-way pump if not hooked to city water?

We have never hooked our tent trailer up to a water source. We have a 10 gallon tank that goes under one of the dinette seats and there is a hose that connects to the pump. So the pump sucks the water from the tank to the sink. I don't do anything special. I installed it and hooked it up and pumped. Hope that help, Bill. Sincerely, Ted

What size hole does it install into? My existing hole is 1.5"

Mine went into a roughly square with rounded corners cutout already in the counter top that the manufacturer had routed in place.I was replacing the original unit that had been removed at some point by a previous RV owner so I didn't have to make any changes to the counter.I believe the faucet came with a paper template for duplicating the proper hole in a new installation.A 1.5 inch hole is going to be way too small as the black structure extending below the counter top beneath the tan portion is at least 2-2.5 inches square.I am repeating from memory. I will check on the faucet and reply back with definite numbers.

what is the water output with each pump?

I have never actually measured but would guess that the output was less than a cup more like half a cup but as I said I have never really measured. My guess may be all wet so to speak.

I need to replace my clear vinyl tubing as well. Should I purchase 3/8" or 1/2" to fit on this hand pump?

If I'm not mistaken it's 3/8" inner diameter if you're replacing the clear line that goes to your potable water tank. Might want to take the faucet with you when you go to the hardware store justo to be safe!
