When i used this mat on my cricut maker3 it would not recognise the size of the mat when it measures it, for a start as the mat is transparent the sensor on the machine could not register where the mat was and also the mat is slightly smaller than a cricut mat so, i found that putting a piece of vynyl on the mat where the sensor reads at the top helps recognise where the mat is and placing some more at the bottom end overhanging the mat makes the machine think that the mat is larger and then hey presto time to cut !

These are pretty decent mats and are invaluable if you are cutting materials that are larger than 12x12 inches. I cut a lot of A3 card and so have to have the extra length in my mats. They stick quite well, go through my Cricut with no problems and release okay too. I figure 3 mats are going to last me quite a long time. Happy to recommend these, not sure why anyone would buy branded Cricut mats - these ones are so much less expensive.

I was a bit sceptical about these mats having bought generic ones before and been disappointed. I needn't have worried. These mats are excellent - the adhesion is good and they last longer than many others I've used in the past. They are not too flimsy and I have been able to cut both vinyl and cardstock on these mats without any problems. Positive points include – grid lines – for accurate lining up on the mat – marked in both cm and inches; a plastic cover which if used after every use with help maintain the stickiness and a “hanging hole” at the top (I definitely recommend hanging your mat from a picture hook on the wall – it certainly makes mine last longer!) I can definitely recommend these mats - get them while they're at a good price
