Have used Schwalbe tyres for best part of a decade (not the same tyres by the way). Know what you are going to get, value for money and punchture protection for the urban commute.

These tyres are the sturdiest/most puncture resistant I've found & last well. The only downsides are they're quite pricey & hard to get on/off wheels due to their stiffness. A small price to pay for less punctures though. I've done several thousand miles on these over about 3 years & have had only 2 punctures that I can remember & that's through occasional patches of broken glass etc on town roads.

This tyre is a must have if you are a keen cyclist, ive done over 4000 commuting miles on a set of these tyers and not a puncture to report to date. I have now bought 4 of these tyers a pair for each of my bicycles and since I'm Touring a cycle trip tbrough Europe soon after trying several brands like( continental no good).the service from Bikes for life was a bit slow but I recieved every purchase and they even replaced a defective purchase I made from them. They were very easy to contact.but service I believe can still be improved I give Bikes4Life a 4 out of 5 not bad will use their services again and recommend it aswell. Very good products and reliable service.

Never be late for work with a flat tyre. Hard to fit and remove but they generally stay on until the tread is worn out. Rolling resistance and ride comfort are sacrificed.

Great so far. I ride every day on rough country roads and was averaging about a puncture a week before fitting these tyres, mostly nips from hitting the edge of a bump or pothole. The road surfaces are very bumpy, covered with cracks and small potholes so it isn't surprising I was getting so many punctures. I have been using the tyres now for three weeks and no punctures yet. Nice smooth ride, but I suspect there is more rolling resistance from the tread, but then I'm not in a race, just out for my daily exercise.

Pros: - fat tyre that absorbs shocks well - puncture proof, had no issues riding my road bike over broken glass, sharp gravel, twigs Cons: - Really hard to install. Broke a tool and ruined two internal tubes in the process. Even at a bike shop, the professional ruined a tube and took twice the time to fit them - after one year of use, the tyre cracked everywhere, with normal use, making it unsafe
