Very enjoyable book to read to a child!

I gave this and other Madeline books to two great nieces and I also gave them Madeline Dolls. Their Mother said it was her favorite story as a child and she freaked when I gave them to her girls. I believe she enjoyed them more than the kids. The kids were apalled that I did not know the doll had an appendectomy scar.

Granddaughter named Madiline loves the books!
