I usually dont write reviews for products but this monitor is in the minority and we dont have products build thick and heavy anymore. To support what ViewSonic has done with this monitor, i am writing this review cos it was necessary. If you are looking for a 32inch IPS 1080p monitor, this is one of the best options available in the market. The build quality is the best and it's not slim, that's one of the reason for a sturdy build quality. Backlight bleed is an issue caused by the flexing of the frame. The thinner the monitor, more chances of having a backlight bleed. You can develop backlight bleed even a year after the initial purchase cos of use of the monitor itself. The frame will flex and deform, you can fix it by yourself but it will take some time and adjustments to the frame. It's a headache and backlight bleed is an abomination. But, what to do when people are obsessed with everthing thin and purchase things that are thinner by paying extra cash for not so practical reasons. There is a thing called physics and you make even glass thin enough, it becomes a flexible wire and glass is harder than iron and plastic. Even ViewSonic VX3276-MHD-3 32inch which has HDR has backlight bleed problem and that can be seen from the reviews there and you can also see that monitor is thin. I personally consider HDR to be a gimmick and it is not good for a nice cinematography in a movie, though most of the movies nowadays dont even have an average level of cinematography cos of too much HDR with lack of shadows and resolution is the real thing, what makes a difference in a monitor but i was not much keen on spending more for 4k. Most of the content i was watch is in 1080p and thats going to be for a very long time. That does not mean that there can't be backlight bleed issue with this monitor, there can be but chances are less and also the intensity of it. You can fix it yourself but as i said that will take some time but it works or else you can go for a replacement. Now, coming to a negative points... Colour saturation is higher than my preference and the menu options in the monitor itself dont help. I dont understand why but it's same with both the monitors that i have, the screen becomes dim if i reduce RGB. But, I have AMD graphics which i prefer personally and AMD gives an option to reduce saturation easily and with a very nice natural effect. Intel graphics are very bad in terms of saturation control and nvidia does not handle desktop graphics for many years at least in laptops as far as i have seen. Saturation is also bad in samsung monitors out of the box but you can reduce the saturation by reducing rgb level from the monitor itself but build quality of Samsung is pretty bad and majority of the samsung monitors are plagued with the backlight bleed and other issues as well after a little bit of rough use. So, i dont have good experience with samung monitors in terms of durability and they dont provide 32inch size without the smart batch, which are useless for me to spend money on features which i am never going to use at all. LG provides only 32 inch VA monitors in the range of 13 to 14k and that doesn't help. Acer provides 32inch IPS for 13k range but my experience with acer laptops is very bad and other products of acer make me feel like that acer is makes use and throw products. Also the 32inch acer ips does not have very nice reviews plus one review mentioned the stand of the monitor is flimsy. On the other hand this ViewSonic monitor stand is very sturdy and handles monitor weight easily. Dont expect much from speakers, they are tiny and i didn't buy this monitor for speakers at all. But, they are better than nothing though but i dont use them. Btw, this monitor is heavy like in the range of 7 to 8 kgs. So, if you want a product thay will last for years and has good picture quality and if you are ready to deal with a little high saturation. Go for it, it is worth every penny.

Monitor has great build and overall quality is very good. Only habit of remote making me feel bad. Manual mode change often during gaming, coding etc needs to tap button but it can be done quickly.

Speakers not working and pixels breaking. 4 times return picked up scheduled but nobody came. terrible experience finally decided never going to order any expensive thing from Amazon. I wanted to give -5 stars to the seller and Amazon but isn't available.

I am using this monitor for my CCTV surveillance. Good picture quality. Good display.

What a fantastic,clear,bright and sharp picture on this IPS 32'' 1080p VA-3209-MH monitor. If you are worried about pixels being too large on 1080p monitors(as I was), -DON'T because I can sit really close to this monitor,less than a meter, and I don't see the pixels. This was so easy to setup, I suggest downloading the user manual because it helps to setup easily.(the user instructions that come with it are useless). The Contrast,Brightness and Color straight out of the box are superb. I actually toned down the brightness just a tad as it was too bright compared to what my eyes have been used to, as on my old 24'' monitor. However,there's a downside(on my particular unit anyway) - on the right side of the screen,from top to bottom, the panel is much dimmer than the rest of the panel.And it is actually quite annoying the more I see it. It is obvious it is a fault. So much so - it is being returned, with AMAZON'S excellent returning service -thanks AMAZON.
