Very happy with it
Because of other reviews about durability. I don’t let wifey or my 5 kids clean it or use it. I also hand wash it. I make salad for the week and it’s big enough for me to mix. My 4.5 quart one wasn’t big enough.

Versatile serving dish. I use mine mainly for salads. Nice quality weight. Easy to clean and store and is a good valie for the money.

IT EXPLODED SITTING IN MY SINK!
I loved it at first, great shape and sturdy, used it a few times to mix up big batches of batter. Put a little water in it, not hot, not cold- it EXPLODED and glass was everywhere!! I did notice a tiny air bubble in the glass but I didn't think it would hurt it. I am so disappointed after spending so much money for one bowl! I'd like it replaced!

Finally! A large glass mixing bowl!!!!!!
I used to have a large glass mixing bowl like this back in the day but unfortunately it was lost when I was moving. I tried to buy a replacement but shockingly no one and I mean no one made a glass bowl larger than like 4 or 4.5 quarts!!! Honestly I was very disappointed. Sometimes you need a large glass bowl to defrost a tray of chicken in the microwave. You can't even use the large metal mixing bowls for storage in the fridge since the salt will corrode and pit them! Glass is the best material! The only star I took off was for the quality of the glass itself. I bought two and both have several small bubbles in them. Mostly not a huge deal but on one bowl there's even a bubble just beneath the surface where it might pop when heated and leave glass shards in the food I'm making. It's also very expensive to where I would expect to have no such defects. All and all I'm very happy someone finally decided to make a large glass bowl I just wish the manufacturing quality was a bit better.

Low sided bowl 😞
Not at all the shape of a mixing bowl. I have to stop buying things on line. It's usually disappointing, and returns are a PITA because we aren't close to any return depots.
