banana split

It's cheap plastic and it slices bananas (surprise surprise!) It actually works really well, but you still have to pick up the slimy slices of banana by hand. I've no idea how the seller can offer it at just 38p including postage and packing... from the other side of the world (China). How can anone complain?

good product, used it several times. Easy to clean, which I wasn't expecting. Only down side is you have to clean a chopping board or plate as well where as before all you would need to clean was the knife. But it's worth it for the novelty

OK, so I'm not the most knowledgable in the kitchen but the kid wanted a banana split and I was gonna try. So I search Amazon and find this baby thinking it will save my reputation (I didn't want to have to walk past the playground getting taunted by all the kids whose dads just magically know how to make a proper banana split). Well, I used the device, arranged the pieces around the ice cream, poured chocolate sauce over it all and added some whipped cream. I proudly presented my creation only to be met with howls of laughter followed by tears over having such a loser dad. Thanks for nothing.

Its a bit of a gimmick, its ok, not amazing, to be honest it would be just as quick to cut the banana yourself with a knife as it is to cut a banana with this and then clean it. Took ages to arrive but given the price cannot really complain.

Easy to use, love the way it slices the banana into perfect segments, my kids love using it so it makes them eat more fruit which is a bonus.

I bought this to take the time out of slicing bananas. It works to a degree, although it doesn't slice all the way through the banana and you end up having to put the slices out through the slats. Whether you save time is debatable, but if you need the slices all the same size then I guess it's useful.

it really cuts the banana into slices, but its a pain to clean it afterwards. it is funny but does not really safe time.
