Great product so easy to use highly pigmented

These are a great product for underpainting for pastels . lovely texture and coverage. The only down point is the price of the product when you go for other sets or singles. This set is great to start with for animal or portraits though.

Received different colours in the 5 stack ordered and one was damaged into powder, so very messy to use. the colours are well pigmented. The lack of packaging ie no box, no bubble wrap means its a bit of a lottery getting them undamaged. However, they are the best pan pastels on the market. Wish more individual colours could be purchased.

One of the pastels (the white fine) arrived shattered, but the rest of the set was fine. They are all packed with shimmer. I don't normally like shimmery things, but I love pan pastel and these just seemed like a must have addition to my collection. I'm sure I will overcome my fear of anything shiny and find many ways to incorporate them into my clay projects.

Don’t waste your money The paint was not compressed as it should and on opening paint powder was spread all over my mums Christmas dress and the settee . Not happy want a refund

A good price for these very dark pan pastels which at excellent for a first layer and thin enough to add at least another 2 layers of ordinary pastels on top.to

Love pan pastels , I use them to put a base layer down and sometimes a background , the tools that they come with are small but nice to use

Love these pastel, have bought the complete sets all arrived in excellent condition except this order. One off the colour was completely crumpled not usable. Was disappointed that why it only received 3stars would not buy anything fragile from abroad again.

I am a polymer clay artist. I've heard people rave about these pastels and I've seen what people have done with them regarding polymer clay. However, they are quite expensive so I hesitated for a long time. I just finally got fed up with having to shave low quality stick pastels into a power and inferior pigments and the mess and possible color shift after baking. Long story short- I bought this set as a test, it looks like it had some nice earthy browns and greens and figured it would be a safe color palette. Oh boy am I in trouble. These apply like butter. They are like nothing I've ever used and can be applied with your finger, or the included applicators. So far- I've not noticed any color shifting after baking. The pigment is saturated and it seems to be a very high quality product. While the price is quite high, I feel this is one of those products, depending on how you use it, less it more and they should last a very long time. Keeping in mind my use is on polymer clay- very different from actually drawing or painting with them. I can't wait to add to my collection. Excellent product! I highly recommend this product. It's surprisingly high quality. Definite must have for all artists.
