Works well, looks awsome

At 1st glance looks small. & I started to worry...But Had my Authentic Fret Mute Handy & it looked much heftier/Bigger than these! eventhough there are 2 sizes. they seem like the "Mini" versions of the "real" ones. But upon further review, I realized I would have to test fit them First! Yes, a bit smaller than you'd want. but thanks to the elastic band on it, I managed to get' em on! the bands just need to be 1/2" longer! and would be perfect! I used on a fender Jazz bass neck, 1.5"wide@ the nut, so was rightly concerned. they fit a little snug, but okay. they look cool, but be careful the studs are weakly glued on so after twisting & tugging to get on, I lost a couple, but was able to reattach with some craft glue! Bigger one fits like OG; Small one very tight! I guess it's kind of what to expect from a "made in China" knock off. Pretty Okay, Both worked, & good for the price. Look Cool, much better than an old sock! : P

This is the first set of string muters. I've been using them for about 4 months. They barely fit on my 7 string, but they fit on all of my other guitars no problem, both acoustic and electric. One of the two is fraying quite a bit. This hasn't effected the function of the muter, but the quality feels somewhat cheap. They appear to be much thinner in width than the ones I've seen at guitar stores. These are the first I've owned so I dk how well they work compared to others. I will update this review as time moves on to show how well it holds up.

Product Ok. Putting test for 15 days.

The product looks cool enough and the spikes are soft. That's the only good things to say.Having said that, the straps have NO elasticity whatsoever and the velcro is weak. I put the large size on my normal 6 string electric guitar and it barely fits around the neck, so I don't know how they think the large would fit on a 7 string, let alone a 5 or 6 string bass guitar. Haven't tried the small strap yet but I'm not hopeful it will work on any of my 6 string guitars.If you're lucky, the strap will fit exactly right. If your guitar neck is even slightly wider than normal, or thicker, save your money and go for straps that have an elastic band.
