Was surprised at quality and how fast they froze. Keeps items cold for a long time. Easy storage in freezer.

When I received this product, I was going to send it back at once. It's in a flat pack, and the pockects contain a powder. Where was the blue gel that I was so used to in freezer cold packs? Soak this in water and have them melt and leak the water back out all over my lunch? No thanks! In fact, I decided to do that very thing so I could report it here. Instead, the packs stayed frozen the entire day, and kept everything in my lunch box nice and cold. At the end of a 10 hour day, they were still pretty solid! I have used these every day since I bought them and they perform very well. In the last couple of weeks I noticed that the size of the ice in the pillows had decreased. So I left them out to fully "melt", re-soaked them, and they are back to almost full size again. Their durability and customizability make these packs an extremely good value.

These are pretty neat. I think the internals are similar to orbees as you soak them, they swell up and then you toss the whole thing in the freezer. After than you put into your cooler along with your ice and such and it will continue to keep items cold. Once you are done, you leave it to air dry and it packs super thin, like how it arrived. Downsides: Does take a bit of planning. Unless you keep one in the freezer, you will need 24 hrs roughly to get it soaked, and frozen for use. Also you will need a place for them to air dry for them to return to their flat storable state. I believe this comes in packs of three, so for my life we can keep one in the freezer and pack the other two away with our picnic stuff.

Wow these are a game changer. I have issues with my lower back and am a big advocate of the benefits of icing. I have used other ice packs the kind that you have to submerge in water and hold it down under the water for 5 or 10 minutes to just get it to even absorb. I will never buy those again these are the only ones I will ever buy. They are kind of like a paper fabric and I literally just plop them in the water and within minutes they were filled up. I bought several so I keep them in the freezer ready to use. What's great about these is you can also cut them into individual little squares as many or as little as you want and use those as a mini ice pack for over your eyes or inside of a small lunch size cooler. These are very well made

I initially liked these to use on my shoulder. They froze quickly and lasted a long time. In using them I'd wrap them in a towel. The second time wetting and freezing them I found a gel substance on my towel. What I discovered was the cubes had split and was leaking the gel. Don't know what that substance that gel contains? I would not recommend this product.

These ice packs arrive as flat sheets with no instructions. They appear to be filled with a dry silica bead in each little pocket. Submerge the sheets in water and gently massage the beads to soak up the water. Only had them for a week but so far so good. No leaks, they do not lose moisture or leak. They are not made from the most toxic materials so if you planning to use them around any sharp objects I would suggest getting the solid form ice packs. These work great for my bf’s daily use for work. He is in wine sales which requires him to carry around bottles of wine and keep them cold all day long so far so good. They stay cold for hours in the CA summer heat.

Perfect for my cooler. Keeps everything very cold and stays frozen for a long while. I wrap them along the side and everything stays icey cold.
