I purchased this product to use as part of an indoor litter box for two small dogs. The pad is not very porous; there are a few holes drilled in that help drain liquid but this isn't as effective as I'd like for my application. To test, I poured 50 mL of water over a small area which I then collected and measured at ~25 mL so about 50% was absorbed by the turf. Unfortunately for my application this means urine will pool up in the fibers and dry, resulting in a foul-smelling pad in a short span of time. The texture of the turf is very dense, but the dogs don't seem to mind this. Ultimately, the reason for my rating being so high is the price. At just under $10 nothing else seems to come close in terms of value.

Very rough, and not to the quality standards of the other options out there for similar prices. The pup doesn't even like having to step on it, but has been fine for four years with every other version we've bought.Decidedly NOT odor-resistant, which you should know up-front.

There were so few holes that pet urine did not drain properly. It stunk to high heaven very quickly even with frequent fresh-water rinsing. I ended up throwing it away because the hassle of cleaning with chemicals was not worth it.

We like the PetSafe Pet Loo but paying $35 for replacement fake grass is silly. This item worked great and we got 6 replacement squares for much less this way.

Closer & more drain holes for urine to drain though would make it a 5 star product. Depending on where my dog pees the urine just stays on the grass instead of draining quickly.

Not really happyWorks well. Just looks fake. Pictures don't revel esthetics. Gets Very Hot in the sun. Kinda useless.

Exactly as described

The piece of grass is super easy to keep clean. It's nice and light, rinses out well with detergent and disinfectant, and dries very quickly. It's much better than the turf we had previously, which had longer grass blades that hung onto all kinds of nastiness and stink. The longer artificial turf also took forever to dry and was extremely heavy when wet. We were a little nervous that the dog wouldn't like the shorter grass, as it looks and feels more artificial. But she did her business on it right away without any coaxing.The only complaint I have about this turf is that the drainage holes are small and spaced pretty far apart. But it was an easy task to cut some extra holes, so no big deal.
