Smaller than you think
The actual globe not on the stand is smaller than a can of soda. It is a cheap plastic that is not sturdy or durable. It's what you may expect for the price. It is a simple educational toy for younger kids as a way to introduce them to the planet. My 6 year old son liked it.

Hard to read little globe
Now, I know I’m not the targeted user for this globe, but I imagine that some grandparents would use this with their grandchildren, and it’d be nice if they could read it. Actually, with my reading glasses on, it’s not so bad, and as far as I’ve been able to tell thus far, it’s accurate. Or at least I haven’t spotted any egregious errors yet. It’s a good size for small hands to grasp so they can spend as much time as they want checking it out. So even though I had to dig out my glasses, this still gets 5 stars for doing what it should and for being the right size for kids.
