My review is for Ogee stick foundation in the Cedar color. This is my first Ogee purchase based on reading a lot of reviews. The product exceeded my expectations. Usually I'm terrible at picking my shade of foundation but took a stab and ended up nailing it with Cedar. I was super happy with the product I received. Packaging was great. I opened it and applied the foundation to my clean skin and used a cosmetic sponge to blend it in. Wonderful, perfect and fantastic. The coverage, color match and ease of application were outstanding. Thank you Ogee!!

I really wanted to like this makeup!! I had heard such wonderful things about it and it is absolutely beautiful! I loved the silky feel of it on my skin. Perfect coverage. Good, clean makeup is hard to come by! But I noticed as soon as I started wearing it that my skin became red and bumpy and started breaking out. I wanted to believe it was just hormonal changes so I gave it some time. It would get worse and worse as I wore it over a few days and I kept wearing it to cover up the awful breakouts, then I'd be home for a few days without makeup and my skin would clear up. I'd start wearing it again and same reaction! Anytime I wore it around my eyes, my eyes would burn and water all day. I gave it 2 months of wearing before I determined for certain that it was this makeup causing the reaction and painful breakout. I'm extremely disappointed for the amount of money I spent on it! I missed the return window because I didn't realize in time that this was for sure the culprit.

Not for me. This product has oil patches that kind of separate on the surface of the stick. It doesn’t stay on and after hours of wearing Ogee products they melt into your pores and dry skin. It looks pretty good when you first put it on and is very soft and smooth. It feels like skincare. The problem for me with all of the products I’ve tried is that they’re super oily which just doesn’t stay on your skin very well. I recently tried this and Ilmakiage on my 39 yr old skin and had to go back to my tried and true Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer. The difference in defaulting to a company with lots of research and development behind them is profound. Ilmakiage doesn’t live up to any of their claims and neither did Ogee products for me. I hope to see better formulations from Ogee in the future as I love the feel of their products, I just wish they would actually cover acne and stay put. For reference I do not have oily or dry skin (although trentinoin can make it dry when I use it).

I love this item. Been using for a few years. It goes on smoothly and lasts the day.

It matched my skin color perfectly, but sits on top of my skin. It can make me look like I have a layer of makeup caked onto my face after I tried to blend it in. The coverage is good. Covers up redness- but after a while I can see it on my skin looking not blended into my skin. I don’t even use that much. I do like the smooth stick application. But also, It does have a smell to it that took a minute to get use to.I’m still trying to decide if I will use this long term because I hate looking in a mirror in the middle of the day and seeing my foundation kind of blotching on my face like I didn’t rub it in. And when I try to in the middle of the day, it comes off. It’s very odd. Never had this before.
