Hmmm
It doesn't sound brilliant. Compared to the ceramic ocarinas I've heard, this one sounds like... well, it sounds like a cheap plastic recorder. But, based on the price and the fact that I bought it partly to see how much I would like playing the ocarina and partly as part of a fancy dress costume, this wasn't an overly bad purchase. Since it is transparent, the inside often clouds up with your breath, which can look a bit icky (at least you can't see it on the opaque ones) and it really does not make a very nice sound. Good if you just wanna learn the instrument (or use it for a Link costume), bad if you want something that sounds nice.

Good for the price.
I recently bought this for my boyfriend to get the feel for it, as he wanted an Ocarina. Obviously it is not the best quality and some notes do not play; It's cheap and plastic... However it is playable and he loves it.

Good
It was what I expected, seeing as it's a plastic toy and it was cheap. It's sound wasn't very good and it only has 10 holes which made it difficult to find any music fitting for it but other than that, it was good.

This Ocarina is a Cul-De-Sac of lies...
I don't normally leave reviews, but the sure audacity of awfulness this product has, motivated me to do so.I bought this so I could try my hand at playing the Ocarina without paying for a proper ceramic or good quality plastic one. I really should have just gone for one of them from the off. All I have now is a piece of plastic which makes no better sound than my whistling lips. I, nor any of my friends (of which includes accomplished wind-instrument players), could make a single good note from this. The instructions only include a fingering sheet for notes with no explanation of how to actually blow into the damn instrument. I therefore assumed it would be simple and self-explanatory, OH HOW NIAVE I WAS! I spent ages trying different techniques, scouring the internet for advice, and from the looks of it it shouldn't be particularly difficult to get a single note at all. Either the instrument requires an incredibly cryptic blowing technique, or, as I suspect, it just isn't really a proper Ocarina. The single review written before mine is likely from the manufacturers to lure in new players into giving them £5 before ending up buying a proper one. Plus to return, the postage will be a fair chunk of the refund anyway, so it's not even worth the time it'll take to return it.TL;DR - Instead of wasting a fiver on this piece of crap, role it up into a tube, blow through that, chances are it'll make a better sound than this will. If you want a better sound than that, then use it to buy this one instead for a little extra...: Zelda Ocarina C3 darkblue

It is a blue ocarina
Now, the main complaint I've heard about these is that the range is a little bit short. You can't really hit the highest note (a D if memory serves) but that could be down to skill. But let's be honest, you're not buying this because you really need an ocarina. That's what the red one's for. It's technically a darker bllue than the one in the Zelda, but I always think the lighter ones look too pale. It's playable, and looks right. Slap a triforce on it with some yellow paint and your done.
