bought this a month ago and only had time now to finally get it out in the garden...not a smart design at all. i guess for the price you get what you pay for - but c'mon! very impractical design - for solar power - i'd rather change a battery once a year and have a fountain that sprays water for several hours - this thing - they're not kidding when they say there HAS TO BE SUN - one cloud - one bug flying over it - the slightest shadow and it stops. the suction cups on the device won't suction at all and the extra suction they give you won't stick either. there's not enough weight to it so it's floating all over the fountain with the slightest breeze so all the water is spurting out of the fountain and in the past hour i've had to refill the fountain three times with water!!! i think it might be too late for me to return it - but at least maybe i can save you from wasting your money on it...

Works as advertised and has been working here for over 3 months fine. Occasionally have to clean the little intake filter on the underside but that is no no deal...Keep it in adequate water and it works well in drawing in birds. Do not let it run dry for more than a couple of minutes or so. Put in a dark place or bring inside when not in use. Worth the money I spent. I do not use any of the sprinkler heads so as to reduce evaporation. It then also sort of gurgles over the top instead of spraying. Water movement still attracts birds.

Saw something similar in one of the house flipping shows in summer, have been looking ever since but no luck, either too tiny or too expensive. This is perfect size and a good deal. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up to use them in the garden.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It does not work watch video below. The fountain nose’s shadow covers the solar panel causing it to stop every few seconds. As the sun raised higher it seemed to hold the stream steady for a few minutes.

Love it! Granted it won't work on a cloudy day, and I do clean mine out when water starts to look dirty but it works great and we had flooding and a horrific amount of rain. Love it so much I just ordered a second one.

They work but are very temperamental

It was a very cute fountain, thought it would be great at first, even took a movie of it, but within just a week it quit working altogether.

Very wimpy and clogs easily, but it keeps some water rippling in my small pond, and makes me smile. So sensitive to the sun, that if you walk in front of the suns rays, it immediately stops.
