Lightweight look at Polish immigration to UK
This is a collection of articles written for the Ealing Gazette between 2007 and 2008 regarding the immigrant Polish community of West London. It's estimated between 600,000 and one million Poles immigrated to the UK beginning in 2004. You'll finish this breezy read in a sitting or two. Somewhat interesting but I guess I expected more substance.

A lovely book
This is an easy read and essential for all who are have any interest in ex-pat Polish society in the UK, -both the post-war and 'nouveau' generations. It will strike many familiar chords for those already connected with that noble country (-myself included!). A long overdue and unique book, both informative factually -unravelling much Polish historic, social and cultural backcloth and revealing much of the heart of Polish nationals. A great way of learning about and encouraging understanding between good people in our multi-cultured neighbourhoods. My sentiment to the authour, -Na Zdrowie!

Comprehensive but easy read
I found the format of this book (a collection of short newspaper articles) to be an easy but nevertheless very comprehensive and format to read. Obviously due to Brexit some of the information would be out of date now, but I thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in Polish culture, particularly in the London area
