These 9V batteries work great and are a fantastic deal for the quantity! I’ve used them for smoke detectors and guitar pedals, and they’ve held up really well. It’s nice to have extras on hand, especially with the 10-year shelf life. Definitely a solid purchase if you need reliable batteries at a great price!

This battery lasted 368 days in my smoke detector. Duracell batteries last ~2 years.Lasting 1 year is OK, because it's easier to replace on schedule instead of waiting for the smoke detector to beep (in the middle of the night.) I never knew when to replace the Duracell batteries.

Purchased to replace smoke alarm batteries and a year later-all are still going strong. These have held up as well as name brand batteries costing twice as much. Excellent value for the money-and give a sense of safety knowing the smoke detectors will function if needed!

I noticed that smoke alarms like to report that their batteries are low and dying in the middle of the night, and not during the convenient daytime hours. The chirping of a smoke alarm during the night is one of the most annoying things that disrupts my sleep, and it's always random and can never be planned or expected. Most battery companies that offer 9 volt batteries, sell them in packages of 1 or 2, yet that is hardly enough to keep on hand for the number of smoke detectors in a normal home. I was pleased to be able to purchase this 8 pack of 9 volt batteries for my smoke detectors. It also allowed me to have extras on hand, so when a neighbor was complaining about their smoke detector going off in the night, I was able to offer one of my batteries to help them, without having them go to the store. These batteries are great! And the quantity in the package is even better!!

Excellent batteries. Extremely well packaged!

So far I like these batteries, they came individually wrapped. I tested one and it was 9.5 volts. The date on them says 2035-12, so supposedly more than 10 yrs of shelf left. These will probably be used well before then. Personally I'm really not expecting much accuracy from that shelf life as that seems far fetched as other Alkaline 9V batteries, even from name brand, typically range from 3 yrs to 5 yrs. I've seen lithium 9V batteries with 10 yr shelf life but that's lithium, it's pretty much expected.
