I have purchased two of these lights. I was exited by the first light until it stopped working after about 30 days. Rather than requesting a replacement, I tossed the light and ordered a new one thinking that the first one might have just been a fluke. Received the second light. Charged it and set it up. Worked just fine. Now, after about 30 days the second light has died. It started by some of the lights not changing like they should. Then, the whole system just died. I won't give the product a third chance. I'm going to look through the offerings and select a different brand to try. I changed my original rate of five stars down to one star because of the longevity of the products I received.UPDATESeller saw my review and contacted me. They explained they had had a problem with the supplier of the led bulbs and that had now been corrected. They said they were sending one of the updated lights as a replacement which has been received and installed. Now it's a matter of whether it holds up. I am going to upgrade my rating based on customer service. After I see if the light holds up I may upgrade my rating again

Had I reviewed this within the first four months of use I would have given it 5 stars. It was great while it worked. It needed recharging recently (second time charging, which averages out to every two months and is pretty great). It won't hold a charge. First time I charged it for just over 24 hours (kind of forgot it was still charging). The charging light had changed from red to green so it seemed good to go. Put it back on the bowl, pushed the button, light illuminated the toilet... and then dimmed, then flickered, then went out within seconds of installation. Okay, weird. I plugged it back in to charge. The charging light was red again. Charged it overnight, back to green so good to go. Put it on the bowl... same thing. Only it died even faster this time. Total junk now.I had previously owned a battery operated toilet light, which also failed (needed the batteries replaced every few days after about three months of use), so I guess we are done with these products. Great idea, but we have yet to find one that lasts even half a year.

I had a previous battery operated version & it was fine until the batteries ran out, when I opened the battery compartment, it had been ruined by water getting into the compartment & no longer worked so I wanted to go with a waterproof no battery/ rechargeable unit this time. The unit is nice, light & compact, not bulky, perfect size to be unobtrusive on side of toilet. The flexible arm holds it in place nicely, it's not flimsy & doesn't slide around as previous unit did. The 12 light selections are plenty & brightness levels are a much needed option that my cheaper version did not offer - the dimmest setting is perfect for me. I love the indicator lights that let u know when it needs to be charged, red while it's charging and green when fully charged- so no guessing needed! Once I had one I couldn't live without it bc I get up many xs at night & I HATE having to have a bright light in my eyes just to go to the bathroom - this is the genius alternative that only turns on in the dark, when u walk into the bathroom & it's just the coolest invention -EVERYONE wants one when they see it! The most important feature is definitely the no battery compartment & waterproof feature so it can b run under water to clean & u don't have to worry about toilet water or any moisture getting into that compartment trust me! So far it far exceeds the other kind I had!

I’ve had this for a little over 1 month now. I bought these mostly to save a little on electric, and to keep my eyes from burning up at night when I have to use the bathroom. I use them as lights when I need to use the bathroom, and most of the time they work. I do enjoy the different colors, which are quite fun. I’m giving them 3 stars because they’re a bit unpredictable; I have one on the toilet bowl and one on the sink, and sometimes they go on by themselves with the motion censor, and other times I have to click the button to put them on manually. I did try moving them to several different places in the bathroom, thinking that maybe the censors weren’t “sensing” me, but I got the same result. I also tried recharging them, but still get the same result. I will probably keep them until they’re unchargeable, and when that happens I will not re-buy. Sad they’re not working too well for me but it’s still manageable.

Like some of the other reviewers, I found that it worked great until it needed to be recharged. Then the blue led seemed to "burn out" and only the other colors remained, but more dim. After the third attempt at charging, the unit produced no light at all. I received a replacement from the company, but the exact same thing happened to the second unit. This time, I had the color set on red and the red lead seemed to burn out. Again, the unit now produces very dim light. I expect it will completely fail after its third charging.It is quite disappointing and I can only think that (1) the led is being exposed to an incorrectly high current, (2) there is a battery problem, or (3) both of these things are an issue.

I really love these bath room toilet lights! I love that they are waterproof and USB rechargeable. I used one in my front bathroom for the toilet, and then I used the other 3 I bought in our large bath off our master bedroom. I put one so it turned on coming from the bedroom and then one going the other direction coming back from the toilet and of course one in that toilet. The sensors work great. You can use different colors every place. If you are looking for something to add a light to your bathroom this is the way to go. You don't have to get woke up to a bright light at night either. Another thing is you don't have to have total darkness for them to work, I even have night lights in each bathroom and it does not keep them from working, the sensors on them work great!
