We bought 6 of these stands/cases for new iPads when we did a mini-renovation in our school library. Three of the stands were screwed down, and we use them to search the library catalog. There is a wall socket just below where they are mounted, so we are able to plug the iPads in and charge them in place overnight--very handy.The cases are very strong and sturdy, but have not damaged the iPads at all. The foam/rubber bumpers that come with the stands hold the iPads in place so they are not jostling around in the stands.For the older kids, we did not screw down the stands. This means the students can look up a book, then pick up the stand and carry the iPad with them when they go find the book (rather than having to write the call number down on a slip of paper). This has been a very handy feature.Also, I screen-cast from the iPads frequently, and the stand makes it very easy to work with the iPad as I am teaching a lesson.Overall these have been very useful and durable. Check the measurements on the photo I provided to be sure your iPad will fit--if so, you won't be disappointed.

Update 11-24 the Company has replaced the kiosk and the keys work perfectly.Update. Never heard from company about the key issueHere is my take on the unit. l bought this to be used during Festivals and Special Events. The cradle is perfect and sturdy enough for what l need, comes with screws so you can actually mount it down. l like how the ipad slides in through the spring hinged piece.. l enjoy the firmness of the tilting head side to side and front to back.ConThe 2 Keys provided do not fir this unit, so its unable to be locked to secure the ipad in the case. l have contacted Amazon and the seller, so far no response.

The case is ok but the inside cushions squeezes on the ipad when the case is locked and causes the screen to Flickr and activates bottom icons. I figured a way out but it took some time.

Estoy sumamente comntento con los acabados de este stand, tiene la opción de fijarlo con tornillos o ponerle un cable de seguridad extra en caso de no poder fijarlo. Me llegó rapidísimo! Creo que es el mejor stand para punto de venta de todos los que revise y el más barato. Mi única crítica es que cambia mucho de precio y a veces está muy caro, lo llegue a ver en un rango de $1,400 a $2,500. Sería bueno dejarle un solo precio para evitar la frustración! Yo lo termine comprando en $1,900 😶

Nice product. Install was easy, and no problems with iPad fit.Got this stand because apple decided to make the new iPad mini 1/8" longer than the old one, so I couldn't use my old stand.This one is sturdy and lightweight, which makes it easy for use when having customers sign for their purchases.Not sure about the locking feature as I have no use for it, but mine opens and locks easily without any hassles.
