Little Red Riding Hood

This is a lively book telling a traditional story. Bought because of the gorgeous illustration to help a class of year 1 children to retell the story using the images as prompts.

I teach Reception and Year 1 and the children liked the story; some good contrasts with other traditional tales. Looked at this one with 'Little Red' and made a very good Traditional Tales unit.

A Beautiful illustrated and wonderful written book. Original story from what i remember reading as a child nothing like the alternative storys of little red riding hood. Wanted the much loved original for my two daughters. They love listening to this story & the pictures are beautiful. Excellent delivery service also would definatley recommend this book.

A true antidote to Disney-like versions of the most popular fairy tales.Easily the most beautiful edition of Little Red Hood I have found.(Hard as I tried I haven't come across a decent version of Snow White yet). Imelda Staunton's rendition superb.
