I have multiple Movado and a few other more expensive watches. I bought this 2 years ago for a trip thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal if I lost or broke it. It’s now my go to watch that I wear almost everyday. When it does finally call it quits, I plan to buy another just like it.

I AM NOT A WATCH EXPERT. Now that you know that, also know that I’ve been going through a “watch phase” for 6 months learning as much as I can about watches mostly on YouTube. For the very low price point of this watch, what you get is, in my opinion, quite good. I’ve had and worn this for a few months and it still looks good and keeps time much better than expected. I think I gain about 90 seconds every month. For a “cheap” Chinese watch, that’s pretty darn great. The leather strap is thick and seems to be holding up well. I haven’t scratched the glass (yet). It’s got a good substantial weight to it, and it’s size look good on my large wrist. I would definitely buy this watch again. In fact, I did buy another similar Benyar which has been just as good.

Looks much more expensive than the price. Nice looking, easy to read and everyone thinks it's much more expensive than it actually is. Nice watch. Worth the price.

I purchased this watch on November 16, 2024, and was initially quite pleased with it. At just $34.33, it offered a stylish, modern design that even earned me compliments. Despite owning five watches—most of which are more expensive—I found this one to be a surprising exception to the adage "you get what you pay for." It wore beautifully, kept accurate time, and maintained a nearly scratch-free crystal. However, the honeymoon period was short-lived. One of the pushers on the side of this analog watch popped out, and despite multiple attempts to reinsert it—using my jeweler’s tools and expertise—I ultimately had to retire it. This failure occurred just 11 weeks (or 81 days) after purchase. Given that I rotate my watches weekly and only wear them when going out, this watch was worn approximately 16 times before breaking. For a timepiece that otherwise showcased above-par craftsmanship for a sub-$100 watch, its premature failure is deeply disappointing. Even at this budget-friendly price, a watch should last longer than an estimated two weeks of actual wear. As a side note, I dress in business casual attire over 90% of the time, ensuring this watch was never subjected to harsh conditions, manual labor, or undue stress. Unfortunately, despite its appealing aesthetics and initial performance, I cannot recommend it based on durability alone.

Außerdem ist es nicht immer angemessen, sein Smartphone herauszuholen, und manchmal ist eine Herrenuhr auch einfacher zu tragen, wenn ein Smartphone schwieriger mitzuführen ist. Zum Beispiel am Strand, bei Feierlichkeiten wie Hochzeiten und vielen anderen Anlässen, bei denen man nicht unbedingt auffallen möchte. Doch der größte Grund für den modernen richtigen Mann von heute, eine Uhr zu tragen, ist: STYLE. Auch wenn Argumente wie "Armbanduhren sind funktional" und Fakten, wie dass sie sehr lange ohne Aufladung funktionieren, sehr gut sind, so sind diese Argumente schwach gegenüber dem Argument, dass eine schöne elegante Uhr Style ausstrahlt: Sie zeugt von Bewusstsein, Stärke und Größe beim stilvollen Mann! Unter diesem Aspekt betrachte ich die Benyar Herrenuhr, mit ihrem wunderschönen Lederband, dem eleganten Ziffernblatt und Zeigern sowie klassischem Design, als ein gelungenes Produkt. Dies war entscheidend für mich, um diese Uhr zu bestellen. Jedem Mann, der noch keine klassische elegante Armbanduhr hat, empfehle ich, sich eine zuzulegen. Wenn man nicht viel dafür ausgeben möchte, ist die Benyar eine sehr gute und günstige Alternative zu anderen deutlich teureren Uhren in diesem Stil. Der günstige Preis der Benyar Uhr macht sie unschlagbar und erlaubt keine Ausreden, warum der moderne Mann von heute keine klassische Armbanduhr tragen sollte.
