I use this for my door from the garage into my home. It definitely can hold the door open with no issues. I like that it has rubber feet so it doesn't scratch up my hardwood floors. I use it when I'm bringing in groceries, Billy items, etc. into my home. Definitely recommend, would buy again.

This really does the job. However be careful if you use it at the top of the stairs to keep your screen door open. We had a windstorm and, since it is round, it fell over, and rolled down the stairs. It picked up enough speed to bounce and take a few chunks out of my landlords new stone stairs. I suggest, to the makers, to make a version of this that is square.
