Best headlamp!
Had a really hard time working on my project car with a handheld flashlight, especially with wiring. Picked this up and it has to be the best headlamp of many, many headlamps I've tried. The three straps (two around the temples, one bisecting the top of your head) really help secure it in place. My one gripe is that the top of your head strap, wish it had a bit more room for my giant head, but a small thing. Anyway, back to this. There are several modes, and a way to focus the middle light with the dimmer dial around the middle light. Pushing the left button gets you flashing green (not so bright), a few presses on the right will get to an alternating red and blue light (again, not so bright). But the white lights (one on either side of the middle light) are what makes this the best headlamp. You really can control how much light you need as you work and this stays in place. Highly recommended.

This is versatile and comfortable.
This is comfortable and it's lighter than a similar headlight I have. This light has very good range when zoomed to a narrow beam. It lights up the walls on a house that's about 75 yards away. The zoom is a useful feature, and it's still very bright when zoomed out to a wide field. I measured the zoom with a protractor. Zoomed all the way out it goes out 45 degrees (on each side) from center. (If you take a square post-it note and put a corner on the center of the light, the two adjacent corners line up exactly with the edge of the light field.) The two side lights are dimmer, but provide enough light to see well. They light up everything in front of you (close to 180 degrees). This mode lets you walk around at night without risking hurting other people's eyes. You can have them on at the same time, or individually. The sensor mode works well. You click the left button, and then you wave your hand in front of the light to turn it on or off, in any mode. There's a mode with alternating flashing red and blue lights. I don't like that mode that as I think that's regulated. Definitely don't use that mode in your car. You have to use both buttons in a certain sequence to avoid stepping into that mode, which I don't like. There is no flashing mode (the white lights), no red light only, and no brightness settings. You can adjust the angle of the light better than other models I've tried. It doesn't click into predefined notches, but is fully adjustable, with strong resistance that keeps it in place. I thought the battery would last longer using just the 2 side lights, but it runs for about 4 hours and 15 minutes. I tested that twice. It runs for about 5 hours and 45 minutes with just the brighter middle light on. I don't know where they get the 10 hours of battery life. The only other mode is the flashing red/blue, and that's not as bright. The light shuts itself off when the battery is nearly out. You can still turn it back on at least two times, and it will stay on for a couple minutes before shutting off. --- I gave this four stars because it comfortable, the zoom is useful, and the two side lights let you see without hurting other peoples eyes. I took off a star due to the medium-range battery life and the flashing red/blue mode that requires careful attention to avoid. It does have a memory and it turns on to the last state used. I have tested several different headlamps.

Great light!!!
In my kind of work, HVAC, lights are a must have and this light is one of the best headlamps I have ever used!! For one, majority of the headlamps on the market are ran off of regular batteries and the ones that are rechargeable aren't the best. I always had trouble with the ones that have the single band trying to keep it on my head but this light has the band down the middle as well which helps it stay in place and doesn't move! It has a powerful light and the charge on it is pretty great. It comes with a really nice case as well which is a plus! I foresee this light lasting me a good while!! It does have a motion sense setting on the light so you don't have to keep finding the button to turn it off, but the detection is a little too sensitive cause just moving the light around would turn it off and on which is kind of annoying.

Just OK but not great
The good of this headlight is that it is bright and I like the adjustable beam to get a broad view of the area around you. But for me, it is heavy for its size and while good for car camping or hunting, I would never take this backpacking. Unless I strapped it down hard to my head, it kept slipping down on my forehead. In addition, the red and blue flashing lights in the 4th mode are completely useless. Am I really going to run around like an LEO in the woods?Having a hard case with a storage space for the charge cord is good and I can toss the case in my bag and know that it will be safe.I also find it interesting that when I first got this light, it was listed as 12K lumens but now is advertised as 28K. Definitely not a 28k lumen.

EXAGERATED OUYPUT
The claim of 28,000 lumens is greatly exaggerated for this headlight. In-home testing with a light meter in a totally dark room at a distance of one yard this light produced about 300 lumens with the focus ring set halfway and at a working distance of 18" to 24" it made 400 to 460 lumens, which is about average for a flashlight of this type. In the more concentrated setting with the focusing ring turned all the way down it casts a one-inch square spot of light that is very intense and measures at about 3400 lumens, but this setting is not practical for most needs. The wide flood setting and the medium spot-only setting are very good for most work situations, and useful for camp or fishing lighting. The flashing colored lights might also be useful if you find yourself on the side of the road changing a tire or even out for an evening walk. Other features such as the power indicator lights, tilting head, and very good head straps tempt me to grade it higher but the claim of 28000 lumens demands a lower grade. All in all it's a very good light.

Bright and Comfortable
The packaging is good, and nothing arrived damaged. This headlamp is very lightweight, comfortable, and super easy to use. It charges quickly, and I like that I don’t have to purchase batteries for it. You can tilt the angle of the lamp down, and you can also zoom in the focus of the light. In its brightest mode, this is a wonderfully bright headlamp. And I can vouch for the fact that it is rain-proof. I was out in a downpour for about an hour with this on without any problems. It seems to hold a charge fairly well, and it is also very sturdy.
