Prairie Style Copper Foil Window Coasters - 4 or 5 Inch Square Handmade Bevelled Glass Copper FOILZ Coasters - City Lights These Tzaddishop coaster designs are inspired from Prairie School of Design developed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Prairie Style of Design came from Wright's appreciation and love of simplicity in nature which inspired his stained glass window designs. These sophisticated textural coasters are created with our new FOILZ technique. Each design is created and printed with 2 different printing techniques to create these rich and shimmery foil coasters. After a second printing technique is utilized, the silver, gold or copper foil is hand applied through a heat process. Four different subtle textural stained glass backgrounds in rich plum, cobalt blue, green and sienna/green are the basis of these designs. Atop the textural backgrounds we have hand applied shimmery copper foil in original Prairie Style designs that are inspired from historic stained glass architectural windows creating a rich look for todays home decor styles. After heat compression foiling we use a reverse decoupage technique to our 4 or 5 inch beveled glass. We then apply 6 layers of lacquer to seal backs and edges The backs are finished with black or brown suede or recycled fiber felt. There are many steps involved in creating these designs, so please allow up to a week before shipping. Each set is boxed and ready for gifting with sheer matching bow.
