The manufacturer makes a superior product. I had communication with the owner of the distribution facility when there was a delay. He took time out to write to me to explain the delay - and I'd do business with this mfr. (Canvalok) again, with pleasure.

Can't live without!!!
I do upholstery and I'm still not sure what I did before these stretchers came along. They make my life so much easier, I absolutely love them!!!

Makes a tough job easier
Best canvas pliers I've ever used. Have been using original Canvalok Pliers for years, but wanted these for the cushion grips. These are a big improvement over old fashion canvas pliers.

Arrived highly warped.
When these stretchers arrived the jaws were so highly warped that only the outer edges of the upper and lower jaws made contact. The rubber grip is also not bonded and therefore moves around quite a bit when applying any force.

I want to like these but they are just too slow and fiddly
I want to like these but they are just too slow and fiddly to use, They are fine if you don't have to do volume work, and the handle is more comfortable than the standard spring return reds. But I stretch 55 to 60 gallery wraps a day and these are just too cumbersome to use with speed. if I only had to stretch 15 to 20 canvases a day I would like these better
