... device connected without problems and the audio quality seemed good so far as I could tell the audio connector ...
While the device connected without problems and the audio quality seemed good so far as I could tell the audio connector on the sender failed almost immediately and lost one channel. As other reviewers have noted the quality of these connectors leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately there are hardly any devices likes these around now that don't use Bluetooth. I have sent the faulty unit back but have ordered another one with the hope that it works better . I will fit a small audio extension to both sender and receiver immediately in the hope that this will avoid the problems with the flimsy connections. This will increase the cost of this device for me considerably but from an earlier version ("audiomate" - sadly no longer available) that I had used for years I know this little units can provide an excellent high quality stereo link between an audio recorder and xlr microphones and a video camera at a fraction of the price of expensive pro equivalents.Having used this very carefully for some time and even taking the precautions mentioned above one of the connectors just failed and dropped to the inside. Appalling manufactured quality. To be avoided!!

Fantastic kit, using it for my subwoofer
The audio frequency range is excellent, 20hz-48khz, so ideal for my subwoofer (Q Acoustics 7000). It worked straight out the box - I didn't even read the manual. They paired up with no help from me. And they are tiny! I expected to get something wifi router sized but these are small and discreet. The transmitter is being powered by my TV USB port-one less mains adapter to plug in, although 2 mains adapters are included along with 2 USB cables. I bought two "2x RCA Phono Female Sockets to 3.5mm stereo jack" adapters, one for my amp LFE/Sub out (RCA) -> transmitter (3.5mm) and one for receiver (3.5mm) -> powered sub (RCA). Obviously I'm only using one channel of the stereo pair, and it works just fine. The sub is now hidden out of view behind the sofa. This is a well thought out product and the frequency range will appeal to the most discerning of listeners. I'm using it for my home theatre 5.1 setup. I am really pleased with this kit.

Works very well, once set up.
I'm using these Marmitek 625 Digital Wireless Transmitters/receivers to transfer the sub-woofer audio out from my AV receiver, to my sub-woofer (actually a 500w audio amp connected to a pair of Peerless 8" woofer drive units directly). The AV receiver has automatic calculation of the delays that need to be applied to each channel, so it manages to integrate the radio-connected sub properly. The longer delay also means setting up lip-synch again, for video. I'm very pleased with the result, as jusing this radio link, I've been able to hide the sub and it's cabling to the audio amp, behind the listener's chair/settee, and this has made the large sub 'wife-acceptable'! The audio results are dramatic.I found that the level had to be turned up at the receiver output for this channel, in order to work well without drop-outs or distortion across the link. I guess it's mainly a matter of matching well with the input to the amp.I've given this product 4 stars rather than 5, because of the rather poor instructions provided, that don't describe the process of connecting the units properly (some terminology is incorrect). But it's pretty obvious what connects to what. Additionally, the mute button has no indication for what is on or off: you don't really know if you're in mute mode or not, and you have to go between transmitter and receiver, toggling each of the four combinations, to discover when you've got mute/off on both units, and should now be hearing the signal. But once this has all been sorted, I've had reliable connection across the room, every time. And nice deep, effortless bass!Surprisingly small, unobtrusive units, that do the job.

Clear audio but corrupts 2.4 GHz WiFi network
Very good stereo signal with no interruption and works well carrying the LFE single channel for my sub woofer. Unfortunately it messes with the WiFi network; it stops my Logitech Harmony Hub working and slows down the data rate for movie streaming on the TV or via Blu-ray player. It also has the left and right channels crossed.

Neat and reliable - great little product
Out of the box, these units seem quite flimsy, but once they're hidden away and working you don't care because they're brilliant. Set-and-forget - they even use micro USB power so if your amp or any other separate has a USB port, you don't have to waste another power socket and transformer. I use them to send stereo audio via an HDMI splitter to a neighbouring room.Really impressed, highly recommended

Works but feels like a £15 worth, not £50
Got it working transmitting to a powered car subwoofer from a home theatre amp/receiver, which requires either 3.5mm jack to RCA Mono cable to the receiver LFE sub pre-out, or cutting the phono/RCA plugs off one the supplied cables and joining together the red and white signal +ve cables to the positive subwoofer out binding on the receiver and joining the 2 negative braids to the -ve binding on the receive. Similar at the subwoofer. However, while it works well if you power the transmitter from the supplied usb charger, the home theatre receiver isn't happy if the power to the transmitter comes from the powered USB socket from the TV (the receiver warns:" check speaker wiring" and then powers off), so you need a spare socket behind the TV.
