Futlidys Jet Lighter, 7.0 inch Gas Lighter with Flame Locking Function, Refillable Jet Flame Windproof Torch Lighter for BBQ, Stove, Candle, Kitchen Cooker, Camping, Creme. Black(Sold without Gas)

This is a quality gas lighter, compact and lightweight. Gives a blue flame and is perfect to light a bonfire

I was looking for something out of the ordinary for a new lighter and this fits the bill perfectly. I mean, it looks like a lightsaber!!The lighter comes in a box with a foam insert to protect the lighter. As soon as you pick it up you can feel the quality. It is made from metal and feels nicely weighted in your hand. You can adjust the power of the flame with the dial at the bottom. In the video i have it set about 3/4 to full power and you can see how big the flame can go. You can also lock the flame on once lit, so if you've got the mind of an 8 year old like me, you can wave it around like a lightsaber. The lighter is easy to refill with a regular gas aerosol can. Its extremely versatile, I’ve used it on everything from candles to log burners and fireworks. Recommended!!

Generally this was purchased for heat shrinking to add to my tool box and it’s been great, used it every day. All I will say and it’s not a down side for what I’m using it for is if I want to keep the flame on constantly then it’s a two hand operation to flick the toggle on button but I’ve got use it. Robust, easy to see if left round a vehicle, flame nadjustment nice, exactly what I want to fit in my tool caddy. Considering a second one for home use. I’ve brought a lot of cheaper ones in the past and haven’t met their use. More than happy with what I’ve paid.

This is a second time purchase not to replace my existing jet lighter but rather as backup as my current jet lighter is always in constant use lighting my hob gas burners or candles around my home. I find it very reliable and easy to use. Has a nice weight to it and all the controls and touch points has stood up to heavy use.

Ok out of the box, after a while the flame overruns more and more when you finish and it should be out. Can live with that if you are careful. But the problem here is that it won’t work after 4 months and so clearly there is a problem with quality and longevity of the product. A shame as on arrival all looks very impressive but there’s lots of reviews about how it ceases to function well before it’s first birthday. Have gone back to a zippo with a gas insert and guaranteed quality. Wouldn’t buy this one again, it's too expensive for a risk.

My previous long lighter died after some 10 years use, both in the workshop heat shrinking and backpacking, now after roughly 2 months use it appears to be well up to use in both enviorments. Tough, easy to use with a adjustable flame size which copes with most windy days out on the hills. A refill will last ok for a weekend backpacking and it the workshop seems to last for some weeks.

much better than the flame ones

I always find it surprising when people think that jet lighters are “dangerous”, in my eyes as long as they’re used with caution they’re much safer and easier to use than a normal lighter. No burning your finger tips when trying to light a candle that just won’t catch, literally just hold the lighter, click the flint and boom, there’s essentially nothing this won’t light. It does use quite a lot of fuel but it can be expected and it is easy to refill. It is easy to use and even on windy days it holds its flame very well one of the first lighters I would say is truly windproof, while being light enough to keep in a pocket without it being inconvenient.Overall a really good purchase, it works very well and is a good price, cannot go wrong!

I bought this to use camping. It's well made and works great. The fuel window is perfect for keeping track of how full it is. I'd highly recommend this for home use and camping.

Parfait

So far so good! It has seemed to last longer than other ones I’ve had in the past. I like how slim it is so I can take it everywhere with me
