First LiteMen's Uncompahgre Foundry Jacket - Waterproof Insulated Camo Hunting Coat

I haven't had the chance to put it to the test in the field yet, but my initial impressions of the jacket are extremely positive. I'm 6'1" and 220lbs, so I reached out to First Lite for guidance on sizing and went with the XL, despite typically needing 2XL for most other products. Upon receiving the jacket, I layered up with all my gear, and the XL still fit comfortably. The only minor concern is that the shoulders feel a bit snug with all the layers. However, even with this snugness, it doesn't impede my ability to draw and shoot my bow. I'll provide an update if anything changes after my upcoming late November hunt.I hunted for seven days in mid-November. The weather during the hunt ranged from 7 to 60 degrees, with significant fluctuations in a single day. I experienced snowy, rainy, sunny, or a combination of these conditions on any given day. The jacket performed amazingly; it is truly versatile, windproof, and waterproof. One day, it started with snow, and by mid-morning, it was raining—continuing throughout the day. Without this jacket, there is no way I would have stayed out all day. My only complaint is with the main zipper design; it can be difficult to get it to start zipping.
