The mermaid is actually a heavy resin cast 3D figure (and not just flat cut out like others). The details are very good and the mini crowns makes it even more fancy. While some of the small resin mermaid fins were broken in half, it wasn’t a big deal since there were so many other options to choose from for decor accents. The mermaid herself was perfect-no blemishes/nicks/poor painting. My daughter was able to keep the mermaid figure and the other bobbles as keepsakes after the birthday. Highly recommended.

I was so impressed with how cute these were! They worked perfectly for the cake that I made for my friend. The mermaid was SO incredibly cute and was heavier than I expected. The little clams with the pearls were too cute! So happy with this purchase!!

These are SO cute!! I put these on my daughters mermaid birthday cake, and I think she liked it more than any present she got. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that some pieces are very small and I couldn't use them because they were a potential choking hazard. In addition a couple of the pieces came broken. Although a couple were broken, it was still worth the money It make her cake so cute.
