Buddhist Temple - Escential Essences Incense - 16 Sticks

I used to burn incense a lot. Our house smelled nice and welcoming. I got out of the habit somehow. While cleaning out "junk" I found one stick of Buddhist Temple Blend. I smelled it, it was still divine, and now I'm back in the habit of burning a few sticks here and there. Our daughter is always glad to visit, our house is just very laid-back, relaxing, and pretty free of stress. I don't know if I can chalk all that up to Buddhist Temple Blend, but I know it doesn't hurt!

Like a bonfire of cedarwood with rose petals thrown in, nutmeg sprinkled on. Website says "The Buddhist Temple blend contains the precious woods of the Vetiver, Cedar, Sandalwood, and Patchouli plants". Transcendent! And this brand does not use additives or chemicals that I'm aware of.

This is my favorite incense. Instantaneously puts me in a contemplative mood. I will snatch that pebble right out of your hand...!

Meh, i guess if you'd never been to temples you might think you are closer at least in your nostrils.. but there is a rosey element that seems out of place, and the patchouli would get you nasty looks if you were at a real temple.. it does'nt seem to last as long as they should, but RECREATing something to salable american standards is expensive and less than genuine.. i ordered because the buddhist supply shop in chinatown was out of my favorite stuff which comes in an octagonal box with all chinese writing and the essence of tar opium and mold,, much greater stuff that is..

My favorite insense for decades!!

I fondly remembered this scent from when I bought it 20 years ago at a retail store. Either they changed the formula, or it was stale. Product was delivered very dry and with a weak aroma. Not recommended.
