Polaroid Now 2nd Generation I-Type Instant Film Camera - Black & White (9072)

My son wanted a camera that prints things out so this was recommended. I gave it to him for Christmas and he took a picture and then proceeded to tell me how they develop over time and how they have a retro look. Bruh, don't explain my youth to me....I was in the thick of it when these ORIGINALLY came out lol. He was telling me how old tech worked. Silly goose. The one thing I will say is that I'm honestly disappointed in the quality of the images but maybe that's the point? I would have thought the tech would have adjusted the quality a little but nope, still looks like photos taken in the 1970's.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Polaroid Now 2nd Gen. I bought this camera looking to revive that instant photo magic, and it doesn't just deliver - it enhances it! The design is retro but with a modern twist, and it feels solid and well-built in hand. The quality of the photos is what you'd expect from a Polaroid: soft tones, a vintage feel and that unpredictable touch that makes each photo unique. The camera itself is very easy to use, perfect for gatherings, parties or just capturing special moments without relying on your cell phone. The battery lasts quite a while, and I love that it charges via USB-C now (thanks, Polaroid!). I also appreciate that it's compatible with i-Type cartridges, which are cheaper than the classic 600. ✅ Pros: - Nice and ergonomic design. - Instant photos with that classic Polaroid look. - Easy to use, ideal for beginners - Compatible with i-Type film (less expensive) - Better autofocus compared to the previous generation ❌ Cons: - Film is still somewhat expensive, so you have to think carefully about each shot - Doesn't work well in low light conditions without flash. - Does not include film cartridge in the box (buy one separately). Bottom line: an excellent camera for those who love analog with a modern twist. Ideal as a gift or for collecting special moments on paper.

I love this little camera, it takes me back to a wonderful moment in time. The con right off the bat is pictures are dark even with the flash so extra lighting is a must! I plan on using it for a photobooth and I coincidentally purchased a light so I'll be fine but just keep in mind when you purchase

Bought this as a anniversary gift for my girlfriend, and we haven't used it much. However, she really enjoys taking pictures with it. All the pictures turn out great, and the camera seems to have a good build quality. In general really good, although the camera lacked a lot of controls and since we were shooting at night in an enclosed space, it made the shots harder to get. So if you want to give it to kids, keep that in mind. The battery from what we used it for lasted enough, (an hour) and the colors are a bit washed out but overall very happy with the product.

Functions really well and takes good photos! Works best with low light environments tho. Wish the photo sizes were a bit smaller however. Looks cool and vintage tho!

It’s not real Polaroid. Nothing like the original. The picture quality is terrible and it’s not as easy to use as the original. They’re dark and dreary like a 90’s grunge album cover, no matter the lighting. They’re a little fuzzy under the best circumstances but if you breathe, you end up with an unrecognizable blob. There’s this black plastic cover that pops out over every new photo. You have to carefully remove the picture from under the cover, while the cover’s trying to shoot back inside the camera. There was no weird plastic cover on the old film. And the worst part is that it takes forever for the pictures to develop. You can’t watch it develop. Instructions say to sit the picture face down and wait. That was the best part of Polaroid, watching the picture develop in front of your eyes. If you were hoping for that, forget about it. Watching them develop now is like watching paint dry. We have Polaroid pictures from the 70’s and 90’s that are still perfect to this day. Well lit, sharp, clear and we got to watch them develop right in front of our eyes. The pictures from this camera were complete garbage. They’re definitely not going into any family album. They literally went into the trash. They shouldn’t even be allowed to call this Polaroid. This is junk. We all loved the real Polaroid and can’t believe how awful this is. We bought it because of the name. We didn’t know that somebody had bought it out and changed the film because they were unable to reproduce Polaroid’s version. My entire family sat around my daughter as she opened this on Christmas morning. It was actually comical when we were collectively like wth when we tried taking pictures with it. Save your time and spend the extra few bucks to get the Fuji film. It’s not as good as the og polaroid either but it’s light years ahead of this hunk of junk.

Great Xmas gift

Ich bin ein großer Fan dieser Polaroid. Ich weiß das sich einige über den Sensor beschweren und das die neuere Generation bessere Bilder macht aber das möchte ich überhaupt nicht. Für mich muss ein Polaroid Foto oldschool wirken, etwas verwaschen sein von den Farben und auch in manchen Stellen des Bildes leicht unscharf sein. Das gehört für mich einfach zum Charme der Polaroid. Wer gestochen Scharfe Fotos möchte der sollte sich generell wo anders umschauen. Vorteile: -Selbstauslöser mit Timer, wenn die Kamera auf dich gerichtet ist erkennst du am blinken wann das Foto geschossen wird. -Blitz finde ich sehr stark, das ist gut um vor allem im Dunkeln auch schöne Bilder machen zu können. -Sehr einfache Bedienung, das benutzen der Polaroid und wechseln der Filme geht spielend einfach. -Tolle Fotos mit nostalgischen Fler. Wir sind sehr begeistert und haben unsere Hochzeitsreise dokumentiert mit dieser Kamera und würden Sie jederzeit wieder kaufen 5/5

Emotionally a good product but financially this will run you dry. 10/10 though. Fiance loved it

My friend really loves it!

Got this for my son's birthday and the pictures are great with a cool aesthetic, the film is pricey, so more of a "use on a special occasion" kind of thing to me, but easy to use and instructions are super clear.
