Is this suitable for diesel engines

I have used molyslip products in every engine of  all the cars I have owned since 1963 both diesel and petrol, I have also combined it with Wynnes oil treatment that ensures all wearing parts are coated in a film of oil on starting and that metal to metal wear is reduced. Molyslip was discovered by the Luftwafe during WW2, it allowed the German aircraft and vehicle engines to go longer between services, which was their secret weapon.
I would advise all owners using an internal combustion engine to use molyslip as part of their service regime,  also the longer mileages between services from new, mean the chance of undue wear is increased if a service is missed or the garage cheats and does not do a full oil change when due, moly will look after your investment. 
I have never had an engine failure due to wear and tear, but always changed oil and filters regularly. 
People who buy new cars run them mercilously for two or three years and dump them back on the used car market have no interest in looking after the engine, but those of us who run a used car for some years need to be aware of these things. 
Many have poo pooed my ideas on this, but I know fuel consumtion, wear and tear on my vehicles over the last 57 years has been lessened by this treatment. 
It was brought to my attention by my physics teacher during my training as an engineer in the Army, he had been involved in this research towards the end of WW2.

Question 2

Does this help loss of compression due to piston ring wear?

It was said in the past to help, and it will certainly not do any harm, but if the wear is severe you will have to do a cylinder overhall with new sleeves, rings and pistons, with main bearings as well, I use molyslip as a protection for an engine in good condition in the main, not a repair.
That said, I have experienced a good result with a noisy turbo being silenced with the help of an oil change and added molyslip. Each engine has its own history and you can only tell by being sure where in its life you are.
Regular oil changes and filters plus molyslip, do not let oil go the full term and all engines will give longer lives.

Question 3

Can this be mixed with another product such as the liqui moly cera tec? or will they mix counter productively? i have a polo gti

No, don't do it, why would you want to? - it works perfectly well as described, they may well mix counter productively & no suggestion increasing a mix strength with another or the same product would be anymore effective -do what the tin tells you - the fact you have a polo gti is superfluous to the question being asked
