Best Wireless Car Charger I've Seen -- Hangs On Tight, Too
The minute I opened the box for this wireless car charger, I could tell I was holding a quality product. It grips my air conditioning vent firmly, and its magnetic ring I placed between my iPhone X and its case is the strongest magnet I've seen in a charger. With the strength of those two attachment mechanisms, my iPhone was holding on to that charger (and the charger to the car) like it was never letting go!It does a great job of charging my phone, too. It's certified by the Qi standard according to its instructions, and it feels like it -- it charges fast. I like having the choice of mounting it elsewhere on the car's dashboard using a little podium that includes 3M double-sided tape on the bottom. That also holds tightly, never making me feel like my iPhone is in danger of falling while I'm driving. This product's only shortcoming is the lack of a cigarette-lighter adapter, something that would be appreciated, especially at this high price. The instructions mention that you must use an AC adapter that can deliver 1.5V to the charger input, but AC adapters are not commonly used in cars. A matching, powerful car adapter would have made this expensive device complete. That's a shame, but it's not a show-stopper for me. In fact, my most frequent use of this device is as a secure holder for my iPhone, which shows/tells me GPS directions on mostly short trips around town. When I use it like that, I don't need to clutter up my car with one more wire, and I can do all my charging at home.I'm hoping that wireless charging will be built into all cars someday soon, but until then, this little device does that job better than any I've seen. Highly recommended!

Very Disapointed!!! Twice....
I recently Upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone eight. I was excited about the wireless charging. I use my phone all the time in the car for navigation/music/entertainment. There really are not a lot of wireless magnetic chargers to pick from but I saw this one and thought I would give it a try. I installed the charger and it worked for about 15 minutes. It showed that my phone was charging. Then it stopped. I tried new wires, Howard my phone down powered on. Tried everything I could think of but I just couldn’t get it to charge my phone. I figured maybe it was defective so I returned it and ordered a new charger in the hopes that it would work. Same thing. This one work for about an hour and then it simply stop charging my phone. I Purchased a very thin case that said it was designed for wireless charging on this phone. When the charger/chargers stopped working I removed the phone from the case and held it up manually to the charger. Skin on skin… Nothing worked. I think conceptually this is a great product but there are definitely some bugs that need to be worked out. If this company ever figured out why their charger stops charging and fixes it I would definitely be very happy to give it another try. Until that point, I would highly recommend that you make sure you’re going to get free return shipping on this as it May very well stop charging after a short period of time.

Compatible with Spigen Thin Fit Case
Good product to charge your iPhone X while magnetically holding the phone. A few things to note though.1st: If you own an otter box (even the thinnest one) it will not charge your phone. you will need a new case or no case at all. I purchased the Spigen Thin Fit Case and it worked perfectly so I would highly recommend that, but I'm sure there are others.2nd: The magnet is plenty powerful and the metal ring is perfect for allowing wireless charging. If you are worried about the phone falling off while driving. I have driven for several days now and have had no problem yet.3rd: the product only comes with a micro USB to plug the magnet it in. it comes with no AC or DC brick this means you will need to find your own. BUT the brick needs to be an output of 1.5v (meaning you probably won't find one lying around your house) so you will need to buy one online. (Side note: I found a 1.8 output lying around luckily and have been using that. it seems to work fine so if you dont want to purchase one, just make sure it's in the 1.5-2.0 range.)Overall it does as stated and looks nice. Aside from the inconvenience of having to find my own brick, I was satisfied with the purchase.

Wireless vent mounted car charger.
Great wireless car charger. The item arrive in a nice box that is easy to open. Comes with usb cable, metal ring with adhesive on the back and a dash mount stand to attach this to if you decide you don’t want to mount it on the vent. The vent clip is spring loaded and so you’ll Have to depress a button to open it. The tension is very strong so it will hold the mount in place.Over all the look, feel and packaging is nice. How well does it charge? Well I just got it, and when I tested it earlier, it work. How well? Only time can tell. But I like it so far.Definitely a good buy if you’re in the market for one.

Can’t be set to more than a 30 degree angle.
Overall it feels slightly cheap and not of great build quality. But the main reason I am giving it two stars is that the viewing angle is extremely shallow. Don’t expect to attach on top of you dash because the face of the phone will be angled up toward the ceiling of your car. Of your placing this on the front of your instrument panel or using the vent-clip option then you might be okay.

Worthless as a charger and okay as as a holder
Worthless as a charger and the magnet is not very strong through a case to hold in the car. I have a brand new 8+ with a Speck case and the charger does not increase battery life after an hour of being idle and will loose battery life if the phone is in use. I can still use it as a phone holder, but even that is not ideal as the magnet is not very strong through the case. It is a thin case and I would expect it to hold better. Only thing that functions well is the 3M sticker that holds it to my dash.
