Worked Fine on My Sony a65, Thanks Again KEH !!!
Great Indoor Lens but was Hesitant on Ordering a Used One because of Firmware Incompatibilities. These Newer Lenses should have these Issues Resolved by now. The New Lens Boxes should be Labeled with your Sony Model # for Compatibility as mine was. Dealing with KEH for Twenty Years & They Always sent Used Products above their Ratings. I received it in LN Condition as described & it was Immaculate in a New Box working Perfectly. Had all the Paperwork also Love this Quiet, Fast Lens for Low Light indoor Photos & Videos!! The Quality Construction & Feel of this Lens is Solid, Sigma makes Very Nice Substitute Lenses for Reasonable Prices. I also have the 18-250 Lens for All Around Outdoor Photography which I Bought New. Thanks again KEH and Amazon for a Quick and Excellent Transaction

Nice Lens.
I haven't had this lens for very long at the time of writing this review so my experiences out in the field with it are limited. First impressions are good, it's made to a high standard, very quiet, and my results from shooting with it so far are great.

Great Lens - Not happy with the seller
Bought on Amazon (as new) this lens from store in Japan. Lens came in 3 days from US Amazon warehouse. After opening the box have discovered that it only has japanese warranty! US Sigma will not valid it, The lens is a "grey good market" item. Japanese seller was not indicating this on its listening on Amazon (!) Lens is producing sharp pictures, fast autofocus but makes noise when focusing. Overall, great lens that was returned to Amazon. Will buy same lens from US Sigma with a 3 year american warranty. Amazon should not let international seller sell goods that do not carry US warranty and it is not indicating it in the item description!

Like form factor - results may vary
I wasn't impressed with the focus - very blurry for outside shots with the shutter speed cranked. Like the form factor.

Unbeatable at the price I got it (£324)
If you want to take nice arty photos with the subject in focus and the backdrop blurred, this is the best zoon you can get at this price range. The only thing better would be the new 1.8 zoom or else a prime lens. Be aware that this has a 77mm screw so you do need bigger filters. However, this does mean that the lens lets in a lot of light and is good in low light levels. I always buy UV filters for my lenses. However, I read some comments saying this was unnecessary and so took it out without buying a UV filter. :-( Got a scratch in the first week. Not sure how. But it is right at the periphery and not affecting the photos so I have got over it. But there is a UV filter on now! My camera is a Sony Alpha 300. I keep being told that I need to upgrade my camera in order to get the full advantage of advanced lenses. Don't let them kid you! As long as you are not printing huge prints (I mean bigger than A3), the camera will be fine. The lens is good because of the clarity and ability to produce great bokeh. You don't need a full frame camera to do that.

Prestazioni eccezzionali e autofocus velocissimo.
