​I really like these because I feel confident that they are safe and high quality. Most importantly, my dogs absolutely love them! They are usually around $10, which is a decent price for freeze dried raw protein. My dogs love the crunch of the whole minnows. They are a great source of Omega fatty acids. ​I use these in two ways.. I either hide them in their snuffle mats for enrichment, or I use a zester to shave them down into a fine powder. It makes a perfect food topper to add a boost of flavor for my pickier eaters. It’s a great way to change things up without adding junk to their diet. ​I really appreciate that they come in so many different protein varieties. Since some of my dogs have a chicken allergy, being able to stick to rabbit or duck is a huge win. Highly recommend for anyone looking for clean, high value treats!

My cats loved these. They go well with a meal or just to treat them with!!! I haven't tried training with these but I assume if you're cats food motivated they would enjoy these. My dogs actually liked these too. Only one of my cats didn't like them ( I have four) so it does depend but overall enjoyable!! Seemed a bit crunchy and was easy to breakdown. I think this was good quality, had a good amount in there. It was worth the money and I would buy it again!!

Love all vital essentials products. Most are single ingredients. These minnows are a great addition to my dog’s bowl. She loves the crunch! They do smell so beware. But it’s the first thing in the bowl that my dog goes for.

My cats LOVE these minnows. I love them because they are small and not messy to hold a few in my pocket, as gross as that might sound, ha. And being freeze-dried and single ingedient is awesome...I love being able to easily give my cats a quick bite of "whole prey" with these treats! We always make sure we have these...I have ordered multiple times.

Cats & dogs go crazy for these! Period Okay a little more praise is the can possibly last a long while depending on how many you give I’d say one bag can last anywhere from one month to 2 or 3 depending on how many pets & number of fishies they get. The recommended serving is on package. If you want your pet to learn new tricks this is a good treat to encourage their showing off for you. They must be tasty & they are safe for everybody. You don’t have to worry about out choking no matter the size I have 2 dogs 4 kitties ranging from 4lbs to 70 lbs.

My dogs absolutely love these treats (especially the husky). They go crazy for them every time, and I love that they’re made from a single, high-quality ingredient with no fillers or additives. They’re healthy, natural, and packed with protein, which makes me feel good about giving them as a reward. The only downside is the price. While the quality is definitely there, it does feel a bit high for the amount you get (it is fishing bait that is freeze dried). That said, my dogs enjoy them so much that I’ll keep buying them as a special treat.
