They absolutely have not! This is the perfect case of technology advancing quality of life comforts. Standard ice cube trays are a pain to get ice out of, usually end up cracking after use and are just a general pain. Thankfully, after purchasing this out of curiousity I no longer have to deal with those issues.This ice cube tray is sturdy while maintaining flexibility and well built at a great price ($5 at time of purchase that came with 2 trays). The trays also include lids if you want to use that for easy stacking.It's a game changer, you gently twist the tray to release the cubes and can push down on the soft silicone bottom to push a cube out. The cubes release so easily with no need for twisting enough to crack your tray or banging it on the counter.The cubes are a tiny bit smaller than the other tryas I had but that's not a big problem, just use an extra cube to make up for it. It's been great for experimenting with things like flavored ice cubes especially with how flexible and easy to clean each of the trays are.I would highly recommend anyone using a standard ice cube tray to spend the couple of bucks to get these.

I absolutely love these trays. No more fighting to remove ice anymore and I love the cover that helps keeping the tray from spilling and protects it from freezer odor. I use my ice trays to freeze small portions of things such as tomato paste, yogurt starter etc and it was a fight trying to remove food items from plastic trays. These just pop out with a finger or two. Never going back to plastic!

I like the silicon bottoms that make it easier to pop the ice out, and the lids for stacking in the freezer. I wish the cubes were a bit bigger, but that's it. Easy to clean.

Very useful. The silicone makes it easy to pop the cubes out, however 2 pieces on each tray have broken causing water to spill leaving them unusable.

Works. And like that it has lids.

Pro- freeze quickly and easy to release cubes from the tray. Just run little warm water over the bottom and push with your thumb!

The ice cube trays are slim and would fit perfectly in small freezers. I love that they come with a cover and can be stacked, and the silicone colors are pleasing. I purchased these to use as molds for homemade toilet cleaning tablets. The plastic frame and silicone base makes it easier to push the tablets out after they are set; I use the bottom of a glass cup to push on the tray's bottom to pop out the tablets. I just purchased another set of four to make dishwashing tablets.
