I bought this thinking that maybe it can work for the router and wifi tower. They generate a lot of heat and don't want the carpet to burn.It works out phenomenal! The thickness isn't super thick which is nice. It's also very durable and is a great size. Definately a great value for what it cost. Would highly recommend this.

Great outdoor grill mat. Heat protectant and non-skid. You can also use it indoors to place hot items on.Wipes clean easily using a damp cloth or paper towel.

I use it on a folding table with an induction cook top. My table is now well-protected from the heat.

I bought the 24 x 36 mat to set under a portable charcoal grill and it worked well overall, but it may not protect a surface from heat.It is very, very thin, not like the floor mats that go beneath full-size grills, but that makes it nice and portable. I foolishly put it on a plastic folding table to hold my new Weber portable grill, but didn't realize the charcoal would burn for hours.It does seem to be fire-resistant--when I spilled some charcoal on it, it didn't burn through, but when I removed the mat, the table underneath had melted a bit. The mat is as good as new and washed up just fine.I would still recommend this, but be sure to use it on the proper surface if you're using it under something that gets super hot.

I use mine on top of an inexpensive folding table, and put the electric grill on top of the mat.Size of the mat was as described, fitting my lil table perfectly. It cleans up easily, folds up small, protects my lil folding table.

I bought this item to put under our grill outside on our deck. It works great and keeps the extra grease or anything from the grill from dripping onto the deck. My boyfriend had to have something, So I found this product and I would highly recommend it.

The thicker version of the mat works pretty well keeping most of the heat from a table top using a Blackstone. It still gets warm but I haven't had any problems. Maybe if you're cooking all day the heat be a problem but this has worked well
