Packaging is great and sturdy. The carrying case is meh but handy. The piece feels sturdy and durable and feels like it can take a beating. As far as the sound goes, the sound is very clear and nice but I think it lacks in the bass levels. I compared them to the in ear Beats I have and I found that Beats' bass can sometimes overpower the clarity, the bass is full. Where as these earbuds clarity is very clean but can use a little bass boost. So if I could join the two together, I think it would balance out very well.

These are solid for the money. They are efficient drivers so they will carry a decent volume level. The sound quality is on the warm side, a bit too heavy at 160Hz, I'd prefer the bass kick to be lower, at 100 or 80Hz myself, but it's not too bad. They are definitely colored with bass boost.Nits to pick, the depth of the housing could be a mm or two longer, they don't quite seal before the outer housing 'L' piece hits the outer edge of my ear so they 'unplug' too easily. When properly sealed they do sound pretty good.Noise isolation is just o.k. these are nowhere near as sealed as Shure or Etymotics canal phones are. They also have quite a bit of microphonic noise transmission (the cables rumble loudly in you ears if they tap or rub on things).The built in microphone works just o.k. for calls, but you have to hold it up near your mouth. It's clear enough when you do, but it's not really a hands free setup.

Second pair I have used. First stopped working and I sent them back to exchange for a new pair.These ones have now stopped working too. IPhone will not recognize them at all and they won’t work on a different iPhone either. They are not damaged beyond normal everyday use. I don’t curl up the cables or put strain on them.These headphones sound nice but I can’t recommend buying them as they will absolutely stop working after a while.

Answer to my problem! The headphones that come with the iPhone7 do not have the comfortable inserts (just hard plastic) and they were falling out of my ears and hurting! I was using the adapter that comes with the phone but the controls on the heaadphones (play/pause, volume) wouldn't work. I was losing hope. I then decided bluetooth was the way to go! Wrong again. The bluetooth ear buds shift to the most uncomfortable position with the heavy controls from the battery pack falling and dragging the other side of the wire to tighten around the back of your neck. And you have to charge them. I wouldn't mind a better brand but it was too much to handle. If i'm going to spend my money, I would like to chose an item that works! Thank you for making the headphones with a lighting adapter! very scarce on the market and oh so necessary!

I put them as three stars because they do not do dictation very well, when you try dictation, they hiss and sometimes one earbud will shut off for a few minutes. If you don't do dictation at all and just use them to listen, they work OK. I still prefer them over the original set that comes with the iphone 7 plus. They are good on phone calls, no issues.

Initially, they sound good. Decent mid to high end in OK bass reproduction. However, then other issues pop up such as about a third of the time when using text to speech a high-pitched frequency noise happens immediately when you finish using it. Also wept getting a message saying 'accessory not supported by iphone'; comforting. However, when it was working the remote worked fine. Speaking of the remote, in my opinion its placed too far down on the cord to be easily accessible. If you ride a motorcycle with earbuds this would not be a good choice for that reason alone. The buds themselves are actually surprisingly heavy as the outside casing are metal and initially making you think you have a quality product. After about a month mine just stopped working completely, no sound no nothing. Buyer beware.

These headphones sound great. If you're an iPhone 7 owner, you already know that the lightning port gives you much better sound quality if you use lightning headphones instead of the AUX adapter. These buds sound great, provide awesome bass and clarity and the long flat cable is an active person's best friend at the gym. I'm ordering a second pair so I can leave one pair at work and have another pair for the gym. Their Customer Service department is very friendly and will answer questions or deal with any issues you have very quickly.

I purchased these headphones because I first saw them on Kickstarter. I was hesitant at first because some reviewers left negative reviews. I don’t know what they received but my pair of headphones from press play was more than I expected. They fit comfortably and sound good. The sound is balanced and some extra bass. Note: you need to make sure they are in your ears to feel the bass. I had the wrong size ear tips on at first. I contact customer service and they were very helpful in assisting me with this. All in all, I would recommend these to my friends and family and look forward to purchasing other items from them.
