We Still Kill The Old Way/We Still Steal The Old Way [DVD]

Solid performances
I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and it held up for the most part. However, the story was not as strong as 'We Still Kill the Old Way' and it meandered a bit making it quite weak in parts. I did love the concept of the gang being in prison but think there could have been more conflict with other prisoners resulting in old style retribution. The performances were solid and enjoyable particularly the gentle comedic partnership of Roy and Butch, played by Chris Ellison and Anthony Denham respectively. One thing I did find a bit off in both films was that sometimes the actors delivery of their lines were a bit too slow and careful. As if they were worried their East End accents would slip. This was more obvious in the sequel. Having said all that this was a good sequel - enjoyable and entertaining. It looks like it's being set up for a further sequel, I very much hope so and I hope Chris Ellison remains in this because he was by far the most convincing of a great cast. I can highly recommend these films, both are a really good watch.

Well worth watching
If you've seen the original film then you'll know what to expect. Action, light-hearted but still suspenseful, with the odd surprise, and always keeping a smile on your face. A good, old-fashioned 'caper', made for those who like a proper man's film.

Likeable film. Plenty of familiar faces in the cast. Entertaining enjoyable watch.
Good solid film. Good performances by the cast. Loses its way a bit with the not altogether convincing prison brawl towards the end. Some of the dialogue interplay with the main actors is highly amusing Well worth a watch but not as good as the previous film We Still Kill the Old Way. Got to say some of the supporting British character actors are very well used. 6/10.

I hope a third film follows soon.
Ok, this movie is not a patch on the first instalment, but its still worth the watch on prime. So, it is another british gangster flick, but the twist is that its all old men, old east end crooks, who do things the old fashioned way. For what it is, i quite enjoyed it and having already warmed to the characters in the previous movie, i quickly settled into this one. Just a shame that most of the action took place inside, as in prison itself, which is dreadfully depressing, i much prefer the streets of london or something a little more scenic, but it is what it is.I do hope a third movie is made, despite the bad reviews given on here, i thought it was an ok film, i quite enjoyed it in the end.

The Archer Gang Are back
The Archer Gang are back and doing a daring heist in London. Remanded in prison, they will try to break out their old friend Briggs. It's the sequel to the 2014 We Still Kill The Old Way. All the gang is back except James Cosmo, the action is actually pretty good and the overall story is pretty entertaining to watch , a large part takes place inside a prison and the rest of it it's about stealing., it does takes a bit to get started for about about the first 30 minutes it's very slow, now the new villain although is better than the E2 villain from the first film he gets thrown in a very weird way and he kinda lacks character. But overall a great film with a good mix of prison and outside

Respectable thieves
Even better than the first film. Old school grafters just trying to make a few coins showing the hypocracy of the system by including a banker. Let's hope they do a third top film a must watch.
