Comes as described. Easy to install, works great with keeping the exhaust hose heat from your house. I would recommend using this item. Works better than the other brands that I have used. Length is perfect, great quality and value for the money.

This has made a world of difference with the temperature in my home office. My office is in the attic of my home and can reach temperatures of 95 degrees during the summer. I would run a portable AC unit but it didn't do any good because the heat coming off the hose that exhausted to the window was so hot my room could only drop about four or five degrees maximum. Now that I have installed one of these I'm seeing considerable difference in the temperature of my attic.

First and foremost the thing works! Secondly it’s a pretty tight fit so it’s a little difficult to install by yourself and it also does not like to make sharp bends but you can make it happen. During my testing it seemed to lower the temperature of the pipe by about 10 degrees besides right out of the machine it dropped about 20 degrees! Quite a big difference in how it feels so far. Giving it 4 stars because it’s not as thick of material as I expected and it doesn’t like to bend much. Besides that it seems great

This works great on my portable ac in my room, but it had a bad chemical smell when I opened the bag and took it out. I left it in the garage for a week and the smell is gone, and was easy to install. For mine, it blocks all of the light out from the white exhaust tube I have and seems to keep the exhaust heat from coming back into the room

The bad: The measurements are small. There is no stretch to it, and it doesn't like bending with the hose curves. Unless I move my AC further from the wall, it is too long. It has no way to roll back the excess and Velcro it down into place. It comes with 2 'straps' that wrap around the wrapper, but they are not adjustable.The worse: The wrap smells like car tires. It smells awful. It's like walking into a tire shop in my house from that wrap! Horrible smell.

Works better than expected. Cut the heat feedback from the exhaust hose considerably more than I had hoped! Cover gets just slightly warm to the touch. WAY better than anything else I have tried! This should be a standard item with ALL portables. Clearly improved our efficiency. THANK YOU!

They are closed loops and can’t be put on unless the hose is disconnected. My hoses have a diameter of 5.9 inches, and this product is a tight fit. My hoses also have two almost 90-degree bends, so I had to disconnect them, straighten them out, and then apply the insulation while the hoses were straight for the easiest application. The material doesn’t like to bend much initially, but I was able to slowly spread it out over my curved hoses.**Smell:** Normally, I disregard reviews claiming a horrific smell upon opening because the smell usually disappears quickly. This product is an exception. It has a strong smell that doesn’t fade easily. I get used to it after about 10 minutes, but every time I leave the room and return, it’s like a slap in the face. It's been 2 days as of this review.**Quality:** The quality is questionable. The material is thin and the stitching is basic, something anyone without experience with a sewing machine could sew. However, despite these drawbacks, this product really works. The hoses look more aesthetically pleasing and feel cooler to the touch. Within a couple of hours, I noticed a difference in the efficiency of my unit’s cooling after installing these.**Customization:** For my double hose unit, I just cut the insulation in half with normal scissors without issue and the material held up well.Overall, despite some flaws, this insulation significantly improved the performance of my portable AC unit.

At first looks like it may not fit...it does! It will stretch a bit. Really great at keeping the hot air leaving the unit from seeping back into the air the unit is working to remove the heat from.
