I work directly across the hall from my wife. When both of us are on meetings we struggle with talking over each other. I hung this blanket in front of my desk and it had done an excellent job dampening the sound.

I read that the adhesive would eventually give. It only made sense that a heavy blanket would not stay up with adhesive alone. Since it was long - 86", I put about 1/2" of fabric over the door frame at the top. I put the adhesive strip on the top of the door first, then carefully placed the blanket onto the strip. I rolled up the extra at the bottom. That way it would hold the blanket up better, when the door is closed; in addition to the Velcro and adhesive. I used 2 strong magnets that I had laying around at the bottom, just to keep the blanket up against the door. The door really pinched the blanket at the top - it's not going anywhere! Sometimes, you just have to use common sense to make it work! I am using mine as a sound barrier.

I bought this to put over a door between my living space and my airbnb rental space, to dampen sound. While it's well made and assembles easily, the actual sound Dampening is pretty disappointing. If they weren't so expensive, I would get a second one and double hang them for a better result, but as it is, a simple blanket layered over it will have to do.

Way too thin. Doesn’t insulate or keep noise out. Way too expensive a heavy curtain would produce the same affects.

Limited reduction; ~2db. Does not support their product descriptions. The two curtains received give off a very intense chemical smell. I am seeking product support to eliminate this.

Hung this on my teenagers door frame to give him a little more privacy and protection from the rest of our noisy house. Very easy to set up and hang, and well constructed. Recommended.

We bought this primarily for noise reduction. We live in a basement unit that shares a stair hallway with the upstairs unit. The door that separates us is a hollow door and did not block out much noise from the upper unit. We bought two of these, and placed one on the door and also at the bottom of the stairs. This significantly reduce the noise Coming from the upstairs unit. We initially used the adhesive tape to put up these panels, but after maybe a couple weeks one fell down and then the other fell down so we had to use the screws and hook that it came with.

Just what I was looking for! Worked perfectly.

The fabric was lighter than I had hoped. It cuts out some of the noise but a thicker material would have done better. Should also come with sticky strips on sides.

they said it is sound proof I didn't find not even 1 % deferent
