Aluminum Sliding Door Handle - 8" Glass Door Pull Fits 6-5/8" Mounting Holes - Perfect for Patio Doors (Black)

I have tried couple of different handles for my sliding door and this has been the best. It's been on my sliding door for a while now and the screws are staying tight unlike the previous ones I've used. I also like the fact that the handle has plenty of space for your hand.

Spend Pennie’s instead of dollars! I bought this handle for our sliding glass door as an alternative to buying a new door because there was no real outside handle to open and close door… just a small slot you had to struggle with to open door from outside. We were going to spend $4000 on a new door, but had a ‘brain storm’… better than a brain freeze that occurs when you’re as old as me and looked on line at Amazon… they do seem to have everything… I had to buy a new drill bit to cut through metal frame and put it lower to avoid inside lock, but it works great. My wife loves the new handle… it’s so easy to open now. Yes, keeping glide track clean is important, but this handle was quick and easy to install and saved us thousands of dollars and ended the struggle to open door. Yes, I worried about screen door clearance, but it works fine. If you worry about that, just place it where you want it without drilling first and see for yourself. We never open and close glass door all the way anyway and screen is flexible anyway.

This sliding door handle is very sturdy and fits as it should. My old handles kept breaking from people pulling too hard, waited a few months to see how this one did and so far so good, very sturdy and I like the way it looks!

So far it’s perfect! Our door is older. It’s a perfect fit. I backed the screws out the current sliding handle/lock, then used the new screws to attach the new handle over the current lock. I hope that made sense. We had zero problems as of today. I’ll update if it breaks or becomes janky. It’s made opening and shutting our door so much easier. No more bruised fingertips or torn fingernails!! If your lock is good, there’s no need to purchase the handle with lock.

This handle is heavy duty. We broke the previous aluminum handle and needed a durable handle that can withstand many yanks and pulls. So far this one has been great. Visually its a bit big, but it does make opening the slider much easier. Very easy to install, its only two screws.

I just ordered my 5th one of these. I put them on by myself (79 year old woman) - this makes it so easy to open my slider from the inside of the house. I tore off part of a nail one time because none of my sliders had handles- only finger slots!!!!

I have bought about 10 of these to replace French door handles with wooden crpss bars. The mounting holes line up perfectly with my existing, 18 y.o. doors frames. And they are aluminum so the frames don't become 'toasted' in the tropical weather where I live
