No problem slipping right through Christmas paper will not tear just slides right through. Works well on cloth too. I’m gonna get one for my mom for cutting squares for quilts.

I bought this for cutting up cardboard. I've only used it one day so far & it may be me not being used to it but if I don't get it working right I'll be going back to a box cutter. It'll start out cutting just fine then just stop. Not the motor, it just stops like it hit something. I'll wiggle it around & get it moving taking more force to keep it moving again until the next point it stops. Probably going back to my box cutter.PSIt was me. Well not entirely. It seems the reason I was having trouble with it was a small piece of cardboard I hadn't noticed that got jammed in it.

I like to batch sew cotton drawstring bags and totes that have pieces that are basic rectangular and square shaped. This allows me to easily cut through several layers of cotton fabric with no snagging or pulling. The cutter is solid and fits comfortably in my hand and has a gentle guide.There is a nice safety button that is easy to operate and it comes with a nice case. I have charged it once and used it a few times at this point without needing to recharge. I have also tested it on canvas material which it also cuts cleanly through.This is a great addition to my sewing tool box and helps me to batch sew much quicker! Would recommend!

I bought this to cut up all the cardboard boxes at home. The cutter is quiet and does its job. I had a minor issue and the customer service reached out to me immediately and resolved it quickly. I am very happy with the product and support I received. They were not just friendly, but they really bend over backward to help.I wish all other companies' support can be as good as this one. I will definitely do business again.

Less three months after purchasing and it no longer works. It can be turned on but immediately dies. Don’t think it’s charging when it’s plugged in.

This product is easy to use easy to cut up boxes. The safety on this box gutter is incredible. There is no possibility of cutting yourself or hurting yourself in anyway. If you accidentally leave it out and you have kids, they are unable to use this box cutter. You have to do two things push a black button that's above the button that you would push to use it. But you have to push hard and you also have to push the button to start it right at the same time. Cut down time breaking down boxes. i'm left-handed that is the only difficulty about this product. is the safety button for right handers. So I do have to push the button in order to undo the safety and then I have to switch hands to use the product. But overall this product easy to use and easy to cut boxes and it cut your time in half, when it comes to cutting Amazon boxes, you shop a lot and you got a lot of Amazon Amazon boxes this is for you.

I was hoping this could replace my need for rotary cutter as it gets hard on my hands. However, you cannot use this with a quilting ruler, so it's difficult to cut straight lines unless you take extra time and dry everything with quilting, it'll be easier just to use a regular rotary cutter, also, while it claims can cut up to quarter inch fabric got stuck in the cutter and I had to try to get it out was very difficult to start the cut without the fabric wrinkling up, causing a distorted cut and ruining some of my fabric

Purchased to try on fabric but it didn’t work well. It’s advertised for cutting thicker material, works great for cardboard. Returned as it didn’t work for what I had intended and got electric scissors instead for fabric cutting.

comes exactly as pictured. nice case. but VERY VERY VERY cheap this does not feel like 40$+ this feels like 12$ The safety button seemed like a smart feature but it gets stuck. and the trigger/on button gets stuck aswell. the mechanism is poorly constructed. dont expect to fly through cutting boxes. this is for people that have alot of time to carefully make a cut without the effort. the blade is soooooooo slow to cut. debating on returning only because its not for me.
